I'll Never Forget

School went just as expected, me being ignored by everyone but I'm used to it. That was until Issei tackles me into my room. "Roxas I need your help!" He yells as I push him off. "Why should I?" I reply with as I pull myself off the floor. "Look, I have a friend called Asia who's being held captive in the church by Raynare and the Fallen. Ruby said she can't help as she needs to go to her boss." Issei says at a speed that puts Ruby's to shame.

"Ok, still don't see why I need to go." I say as I turn around. "Asia also said something about 2 other girls. One of them with black hair and...wearing that coat." He says pointing to my Organisation Coat. "Wait, That coat." I say and he nods. I grab the coat and put it on quickly. "Let's Go" I say as I pull up the hood.

We make it to the church and see the door is shut. I pull out my Keyblade and cut the door to ribbons. "Ok, that thing is ridiculous." Issei says and I look at him. "Ok, let's go" He quickly says and we enter the church. "Ohohohoh, well looks like I have some filthy devils to cut to pieces." A crazy weirdo says and go to stab me with a knock off ethereal blade. I cut it in half and knock him out a window like a golf ball. "Idiot" I say and we press on.

We reach the altar which has light glowing from underneath it. "Okay on three" Issei says as I summon 3 Dusks and 2 Creepers which manage to move the Altar with relative ease. "Ok, that works" He says while chuckling. "Make sure that no-one else enters or leaves. Only us and the captives." I say and they bow and stand guard. "Issei, let's move" I say impatiently.

We reach the hidden chamber filled with people. At the end of the room stand 3 crosses. In the middle a girl with Blonde hair is chained up while I care more about the 2 on the side. The one on the right has as Issei described it; black hair, blue eyes and wears the coat of Organisation XIII, the other has blue hair and is wearing a very unorthodox outfit with pieces of armour on her boots and shoulder area.

Both seem familiar to me for some reason. Must be from Sora. "Asia!" Issei yells like an Idiot. Raynare turns around and looks at us.

"Oh, it's the Twice Critical and...who are you?" She says addressing me. This gets the attention of the captives who look our direction. I summon the Kingdom key and point it at Raynare. "YOU!" She yells and orders her men to attack. "Issei, take Raynare" I say as I jump into the crowd. They try to attack me but to no avail as I fluently dispatch them with my Keyblade. It's not long before they are all defeated. I look at Issei who's struggling and throw my Keybladeat her which knocks her out the sky.

I move past Issei and see the blonde girl in critical condition. I look at the other two and memories begin to flood my head. The memories of Xion come back to me but the other girl still remains an enigma. I regain my senses only to be knocked to the side by a group of Fallen. The blow knocks my hood off and the girls can see me. "ROXAS/VENTUS!" The girls yell respectively and I feel another wave of memories, this time not from me or even Sora, coming from a lookalike of me. I focus once more and summon my Keyblade only for me to get 2. 'Oathkeeper and Oblivion'.

I rush at the horde of fallen and they fallen easily like birds with no wings. Once I'm finished I approve Raynare. She rushes up the stairs only to be stopped by the Dusks I put up there. I grab her and throw her back down. I go to end her but she stabs me in the gut with a light spear. I stumble back and she plows through the group of Nobodies at the stairs. I use a cure spell and ignore her for now.

I use my Keyblade to unlock the bindings and the girls are free. Xion runs up to me and hugs me for dear life. "Roxas, thank you." She says while crying. I hold her close and turn my attention to the blue haired girl. "Ven, is that you" She says whilst trying to hold back tears. "In a way, I am but not entirely Aqua," I say as she hugs me, having to lean down a bit but not much.

I accept it but realise that even to though I look and sound like Ventus, I'm not. I'm Roxas. When we separate we exit the chamber to see Rias subdued by the Nobodies as well as Raynare. "Release the Devils," I say and they let them go. They immediately get on guard and Xion and Aqua both draw their Keyblades. "Rias, you can deal with the Crow, I'm going home." I say as I lead Xion and Aqua out the church.

Outside the church stands Ruby but she has a sour look on her face. "I guess you remember everything now, don't you." She says as I nod. "Well, That means my work here is done." She says sombrely as her visage begins to crack. "Wait, Ruby what's going on." I say as I get close. She holds her hand out stopping me and looks at me. "I'm not from this world, Stratos gave me a task to help restore your memories and now it's finished, I'm going home." She says with tears in her eyes.

The cracks get bigger as they cover her body. "I know we haven't met each other for long but I hope that this world treats you kindly Roxas. Xion, Aqua take care of him for me." She says and they nod. "I've changed the apartment building where I stayed into a house for you all with room for any others Stratos is able to bring in. I can't say if I will see you again. Goodbye Roxas." She says as the cracks go over her face. I go to her only for her to shatter into nothingness.

I look up to the sky with tears in my eyes. "I'll never forget you, Ruby" I say as I wipe the tears away. "Let's go check out the house." I say and we head off to the house. "Roxas, who was she?" Xion asks and I look up once again. "The closest thing I had to a friend here." I say and Aqua puts a hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry, we're here for you." She says and I nod as we continue to the last remnant of Ruby in this world.
