XIII's Rebirth

Game Plan, Training

The looks on WBY's and Neo's face are of complete confusion whilst the rest of us are surprised. I sigh and motion for everyone to go to the dorm for a private explanation. Ruby, Summer, Vanitas and myself hang back with mixed emotions throughout. "Is that man mad? Whilst Xion, Axel and Aqua can handle themselves, He's sending the others, who can barely cooperate, to deal with this mess." Vanitas yells out which whilst none of us want to comment. He's right. "Even now, I doubt we stand a chance." I say as we make our way back. "We have the element of surprise, I highly doubt that she knows of my return and your new allegiance," Summer says gesturing at Vanitas. "Even with that, we'll need a way to bypass her immortality," I say out loud.

We make it back to the dorm with NWBY sat down in front of the others eyes wide with shock. "We told them who Salem is," Aqua says and I nod. "So, any bright ideas on how to kill an immortal?" Axel says crossing his arms. "Riser boasted about being immortal, but it wasn't true immortality, Salem is." Xion says which gets a nod from all of us. "The only thing which could help is finding either a way to stop it or find something she isn't immune to." Ruby says as I sit down thinking. As everyone begins talking about a way to defeat Salem I pull out the keychain that Stratos gave me. "Riser's wounds didn't close when he got cut with this," I say quietly as something comes to mind.

Ruby looks at me and notices the keychain, "Roxas, any ideas?" She says which snaps me out my reverie. "Maybe, during our fight with Riser, the keyblade Stratos gave me ignored Riser's regeneration. Even Oathkeeper didn't fully stop it but this did," I say and Vanitas gave a small chuckle. "It may just ignore her immortality as well," he continues and I nod. "Wait, he also never regenerated when you used Xemnas' power, maybe the other powers from the old organisation could be effective." Aqua points out and I smile. "I think we have a way to best her," I say and we all disperse.

It was night and I'm in my room with Ruby, both of us in our sleepware. "Roxas, you sure this will work?" She asks as she holds my left side. "It's the only choice we have," I say and she looks down. The door them opens revealing Awah and Xion both in nightgowns. "Took you long enough." Ruby comments as I sit there confused. Wordlessly, the 2 climb into bed with Aqua taking my right arm whilst Xion lies atop me. Not wanting to argue I just go to sleep with the 3 women on me.

Timeskip

A week went by and so far nothing big has happened. Missions went smoothly as Heartless totals became less and less. Right now the Vytal festival was starting and team fights were now happening in Amnity Coliseum. So in order to be ready for the tournament and our inevitable fight with Salem, we're training. At the moment everyone is opposite myself, in their coats which they have added their symbol to the back of. "Alright, this is a team effort. You lot are going up against me in teams of 4: the order will go RWBY, NBDY plus Vanitas, NWBY, NBDY plus Summer and finishing with Vanitas, Summer, Ruby and Neo" I say getting a nod as RWBY takes centre stage against me.

The fights went as expected, RWBY were alright with Ruby being the best out of all of them purely for knowing how I fight. NBDY+V did a lot better as they all were much stronger than the others with Aqua being the leader role. NWBY was... adequate, a lot less coordinated with Weiss as their leader. NBDY+S also did well with Summer as Leader and with her darkness manipulation causing a modicum of issue.

Now I face VSRN who are getting into position when I desummon Oathkeeper and Oblivion. "Neo, give me a number between 1 and 15" I say and she stops to think. Meanwhile Axel, Xion, Ruby and Summer all stiffen slightly at my request. Neo then holds up her scroll showing the Roman numeral 'XIV'. I give a slight chuckle at that and activate my 'semblance'. My coat becomes armoured and i summon Kingdom Key. Summer summons her dual Soul Eaters as I smirk. A black aura washes over me as I change form. Once it fades instead of a cloak I'm fully decked out in a armour with a keyblade that catches Xion completely off-guard.
