I Am Darkness

The Vytal Festival. A chance for hunters to prove themselves against their peers and members of others from the different Academies. Ruby and her team are in the Library right now whilst I'm with my team discussing important matters. "So, this Xsemrum calls herself Number XV; The Fallen Rose" Axel says as he puts his hands behind his head. "Yeah, She didn't do anything but take a glance at a gravestone, ask who it was and then left" I say and Aqua begins to think. "Well, maybe they have a connection to her. It may explain why she went there."

I nod and look out into the unknown. "Whoever She is, we should be careful" Xion points out as we all agree on that notion. The Team RWBY walk in and see us. "Hey guys, we're planning on doing some investigation on Torchwick and The White Fang. Wanna come with?" Ruby asks and Weiss goes to reprimand her. "Ruby! We can't just ask that out of the blue." Yang then puts her hand on Ice Queen's shoulder.

"Weiss, we can use the help. Vale's a big place and they can cover more distance than us with those portals." She says and Blake comes up to us. "And Roxas can create those creatures to help get more coverage." Blake continues and Weiss pauses. "Well, I guess it would be alright if they helped" Weiss admits and Axel laughs. "Oh look, Ice Queen's warming up now" We all laugh as she scowls at him.

"Alright, we'll help. Where should we start" Aqua asks and Ruby picks up. "Well, me and Weiss were gonna check the CCT tower, Yang said she knows someone who might know and Weiss would sneak into a WF Rally." She says and Xion nods. "Alright, I guess we'll check out the docks and warehouses in the area, try and find storerooms for weapons and Dust." She says and they all nod. I hand Aqua a black coat and she looks at me. "Roxas, I can use my armour." She says and I explain. "I know but your armour isn't exactly stealthy, that and they might know of the armour from our outings. We can't risk it" I say and she nods.

I open a Dark Corridor and my team all walks through. On the other side we stand atop one of the buildings. "Alright, if you see something involving White Fang, call back immediately. Meet here in 2 hours. Aqua your with me." I say and we separate to investigate. Me and Aqua look near the docks and look through warehouses. Eventually we get to a warehouse with it's door agar. Entering we see the light is completely Go me so I cast fire on my Oathkeeper to act as a torch.

There in the darkness stands mass amount of open crates completely full of Dust, weapons and explosives. "My god, they're planning a war." I say as Aqua collects evidence. Looking further we see blueprints displaying the layout of Beacon. On certain areas a mark was placed all throughout the base. "These are Load-baring walls and pillars. They plan on toppling Beacon." I say and take the blueprints. Looking at the walls of the room, a board with a title reading. "Operation: Black Queen."

Taking an image of it I go back to Aqua who is arming one of the bombs. "Good idea, best blow this place to The Lanes Between" I say and she nods. I create a Dark Corridor and we walk through now looking at the base from a distant rooftop. "You want to do the honours" I say passing her the detonator and she triggers the bomb. The entire Warehouse now goes up in flames. "Not that I want to do it again but this does look beautiful" I say and Aqua looks away. "Y-Yeah. Hey Roxas, can I tell you something."

Aqua PoV

Now or Never. "Sure What is it?" He says and I turn to face him. I shuffle a bit and grip his hand. "Aqua, you alright?" He asks and gets closer to me. I try to control my breathing and heartbeat as he looks me in the eyes. "Aqua, you the-." He tries to say but I interrupt him by kissing him on the lips. He stands there shocked as I move back. "I'm sorry but I couldn't help it. Ever since you saved me in Kuoh I had these thoughts and I couldn't let go of them"

I say and he looks at me and his face changes. "I know" He says and it's my turn to become surprised. "How? Was I that obvious?" I say and he shakes his head. "One, you talk I your sleep, heard you during class. Also, Ruby told me that if others liked me she's willing to share as long as she's the first one I marry." I sigh in relief and hold him closeted he does the same. "I take back what I said before, compared to you, that explosion was nothing" he says and my blush only deepens.
