First meeting

KONGPOB

I was sleeping peacefully when my morning alarm decided to aware me of its presence. I tried to open my eyes and looked at the clock..it's only 7..7:49... WHATTHEHELLLL!!!!

Kong jumped out of his bed and run to his bathroom. Today is his first day in his office at Thailand Investigations Department, his new office, key of new beginning.....How can you mess up with setting alarm ??....Kong mentally scolded himself. Half tripping ,half shoving his hands into arms of shirt,Kong got ready and rushed to the bus stand . As soon as he reached the bus stop he saw 431
moving away.

" Hey!!! Hey stop the bus ", Kongpob shouted but all in vain.

Kongpob checked his watch . Now it is 8:40 ,only 20 minutes. He decided to use metro as his last saviour . He ran back to the metro station & thankfully the metro has not left yet. He rushed inside the already crowded metro despite his fear of being around this much people. Kong secluded himself into a corner and stand there. At each station, crowd inside the metro was increasing and Kong has all but plastered himself to the glass panel and praying not to be late on his first day of office or worse to throw up in metro.

At last, Kongpop reached his office in time. He reported to his senior head and his foster brother.. Beam Vongviphan

"Good morning P'Beam!!" Kongpob politely greeted his brother,trying to control his heavy breathing because of all running.

"Good morning Nong !! let's introduce you to your colleagues. Shall we?" Beam greets back and begin to move ahead of him.

Kongpob smiled....like always ,man of few words....

" So nong, this is officer Perawat's cabin. You will be trained under him. At the moment, he is out of the town. Use this opportunity well and adapt to your surroundings quickly"- Beam explains to him while entering the office.

Kongpob eyes widen seeing how cluttered the whole office was. Heaps of papers and files are scattered all over the place. Seeing the thick layers of dust on the sofa and chairs suggests that the office has not seen the face of broom for more than a month. It is difficult to see the desk as it is entirely covered with many more case files. The glassshelf behind the table is full of topnotch awards, certificates, trophies but it looked like they are just rushed in it. They all are standing precariously in a haphazard pile...looks like this office has not been used for long....Kongpob turns to his brother who has his attention on the phone and clears his throat to get attention and when he succeeded in doing so , he smiles while assuring his brother and senior.

"Yes Sir! I will never disappoint you."

Kongpop is not bluffing. Since he can remember, he always wanted to be someone who can protect others as P'beam's parents has done for him. Kongpob doesn't know a single thing about his birth parents . P'Beam parents are the only family he have and he want them to be proud of him.

"I know nong. You are brave, hard working and honest . I trust you fully. If you ever face any problem ,come to me okay?", Beam is genuinely concerned. He knows how innocent and kind hearted his little brother is. Being a cop, they witness so many inhumanly things every single day and take many harsh decisions and sometimes turn a blind eye to things but Kongpob is not like them....he is just too innocent and pure to be in this field.

After one month, Kongpob is familiarized with how things work in TID. He has also developed a great comaradie with his seniors and colleagues. The only person he has not met till now is P'Arthit ,his mentor. However, he has heard multiple sonnets about the man from the whole building. How brave and courageous the other person is. A total enigma. A true patriot. A complete nutcase who doesn't fear the upper authorities. A rabid dog who doesn't think twice before sinking his sharp cannies in criminals. His fellow colleagues gets jealous of him while juniors idolize him. He is adored by the media but is loathed by top officials. All these mixed praises have piqued Kongpob's interest. But what skyrocketed his curiousity is when he saw the secret confession page of TID. Made by some fan group of the officer. He was shocked when read the comments stating how they miss  their charismatic and playful senior or how it has been difficult working in absence of their daily dose of sunshine. He also read comments stating how handsome and hot this Perawat guy is ...a perfect devil with face of angel...Arthit...Detective Arthit Perawat . P'Beam also talk very highly of him, that he is the youngest of his age there and have solved many complicated cases firsthand and also awarded by Govt. of Thailand.
