Chaeyoung was at school, sitting in class, but her mood was as high as the heavens.  She was having a hard time suppressing a silly smile, which kept threatening to resurface on her face every now and then.  It was always when thoughts of Mina popped into her head.

Chaeyoung couldn't help it.  She thought yesterday's events were a dream, but when she woke up in the morning and went downstairs for breakfast, and talked to Mina, she knew immediately that their relationship had changed.  Chaeyoung's wish had come true.

As Chaeyoung was getting ready for school earlier, her mood was slightly ruined when she didn't get to talk to Mina much.  Mina was busy helping Changmin get ready for work, packing his briefcase for him and making sure he had all his things ready.  Chaeyoung felt a whole slew of emotions: jealousy, disappointment, longing, and of course, she knew she was being irrational and immature.  But her mood was lifted once again when Mina smiled at her and wished her a good day at school. Mina also promised her that she'd pick her up from school later in the car.  Chaeyoung was overjoyed, anticipating the end of the school day more than ever.

And so she sat in her History lesson, smiling away while thinking about Mina, despite History being her least favourite subject.

The only thing Chaeyoung could think about was the fact that she and Mina were now girlfriends.  It was so wrong, yet it made her so happy. She could hardly handle her emotions.

Suddenly, her teacher announced that the class was going to have a standardised test.  That snapped Chaeyoung out of her reverie and made her hyper-alert, but she seemed to be the only one panicking.  Apparently, this test wasn't a surprise one. Everyone else had studied for it, and Chaeyoung was one of the only ones who happened to forget.

Chaeyoung sighed, accepting her fate as she stared at the test sheet in front of her.  The clock started ticking and Chaeyoung began attempting the questions. She could get through about half with questionable confidence, and for the rest, well... she was struggling, to say the least.  Chaeyoung grew increasingly annoyed at her inability to remember any dates and facts, and form any coherent arguments. She tried her best till the end, but still, as she was handing in her paper, she already knew she didn't pass.

Her dismal performance on the History test didn't make much of a dent in her mood for the rest of the day, though.  That was the power of Mina.

"Hey... do you guys think Chaeyoung is acting a bit strange today?  Like, overly cheerful?" Jihyo asked Jeongyeon and Nayeon in private.

Jeongyeon nodded profusely.  "Definitely. She's creeping me out.  I'd ask her about it but she seems to be in her own little bubble.  I've never seen her like this before. Maybe I'll text her later or something."

Jihyo nodded in agreement.  Nayeon kept quiet and simply looked over at Chaeyoung, who continued daydreaming with a strange little smile on her face.

Things weren't going as Nayeon planned.  Today was supposed to be her big day. She was supposed to watch Chaeyoung's basketball practice, but she got caught up with some extracurriculars, and ended up missing most of the practice.  Nayeon was beating herself up over it; she really wanted to watch Chaeyoung and talk to her. As soon as Nayeon was free from the clutches of her teachers, she rushed over to the gym, and saw that it was already mostly empty.  Nayeon's heart sank. Was Chaeyoung still here?
