So I guess today's my last full day in town. I asked my mom if I could hang with Leila until then. She said yes of course, she loves Leila. The thing about Leila is she's super behaved, she has never done anything bad in her life and is a straight A student. She's pretty much the opposite of me. I'm not a bad kid by any means, I just do bad things on occasion. I used to be a party kid. That's all in the past now.

Anyways I decided that Leila was the person I wanted to be with before I left. She was my first friend, so I wanted to leave with her being the last friend I see. We decided to just go over to her house and just hang out. It was sad that I had to leave, but the only reason I am sad is because of Leila.

Mom was a little reluctant to letting me go. She keep asking when would I be home. She looked very anxious, I have no idea why. This wasn't unusual behavior, she always seems a bit anxious, she never seemed to let her guard down.

Leila pulled up to my house and waved to me.

"I'll be back soon mom, I promise." I gave her a weak smile, she nodded. I waved goodbye as I got into the car.

"Ready for the best hangout session in the history of the universe?" She said with a wicked grin. I matched hers.

"Yea, let's do this." And then she hit the pedal, hard. I heard a loud screech and then we were off.

"Leila! You're nuts!" I yelled, gleefully I might add. She put on her signature wicked grin.

"Yea, I noticed! Woo hoo!"

We soon pulled up to her house. It was surprisingly calm, the Vancove household was always crazy. Leila noticed my confusion.

"My mom took my siblings to our grandmas, the house is conveniently all mine for the day."

She opened the door and I stepped inside. It was dark, but that's not surprising as no one was home. I looked behind me to see Leila nowhere in sight. The door was shut, letting no light in. The living room was very dim and calm, serene. I walked toward the stairs leading to the second floor.

"Leila?" I yelled. No answer. I was about to walk up the stairs before the light turned on.

"SURPRISE!!!!!" I fell back, startled. But I quickly started to laugh. Leila was awesome. I guess she did plan a party, didn't she?

I got up and pulled Leila into a tight hug, by tight I mean air right. Ain't nothing was gonna pull me away from my girl. She started to struggle, trying to push me away.

"Jason, you are literally crushing me right now." Leila was gasping for air. I reluctantly let her go.

"Of course I only invited the important people. No fake people are here to ruin your day. Only people who will actually miss you," she said. She literally invited everyone I wanted to see right now. It brought a tear to my eye.

"Thank you all for coming to see me! You have no clue how happy I am right now!" I exclaimed.

"Of course we came! I'm still devastated that we are losing our best Tenor!" My friend Bradley shouted hysterically.

"You loser! We were suppose to finish high school as best friends together!" My friend Patience said. I smiled, thinking of all our plans. I was kinda in this click of 8 people. All of my best friends.

"Anyways, let's get past all of this dreary stuff and throw a party the way goody goody choir kids do!" I yelled!

We had fun, danced a bit, ate a lot, and had a jam fest to high school musical. It was the best going away party anyone could have ever thrown me. I was choking back tears, it hurt more than I thought it would.
