3 years later...
Jimin's mom knows at this point what Yung Ji is doing. She knows that he is cheating but hasn't said anything. She lets the daunting thought of who could the person be, drive her into a dark and depression ridden state.
Jimin is graduating from high school soon, and he fears that he might have to stay back a couple of months, before leaving for college to care for his mother, who has given up on life. His non-existent father is exactly what he is described as. Non-Existent.

Both are sitting in the living room, having a somewhat cheerful conversation about Jimin's upcoming birthday next week.
''We should go out for ice cream and maybe to the movies and get a cake...'' His mother suggests, with a genuine smile on her face. Talking and focusing on something else other than her no-good husband's infidelity is helping.
But soon enough, the conversation is interrupted, by Yung Ji walking through the front door. ''Oh, you're here...'' Jimin mumbles. No longer interested in his father.
''I came to talk to your mother. Do you mind going up to your room for a while?'' He asks.
''No, I'm good. Whatever it is, spit it out. I think even the invisible substances in the room knows what it's about.'' He declines his request.
''Jimin-ah...'' She looks at him with soft eyes. ''Just go.''
''Eomma! I'm not a child anymore. So stop forgetting that there is a 1 in front of the 7. It is obvious what it is. He knows it, I know it, and you know it better than anyone.'' He stands up.
''Park Jimin!'' She says a little harsher.
''He's a liar, and a cheater, a terrible father, and a worse husband. It's a surprise is that briefcase doesn't contain divorce papers.'' He finishes his point, and storms out of the room and up the stairs.
''Aish!'' She shakes her head. ''He didn't mean any of that.''
''Maybe so, but he's right.'' He cuts in, placing the case on the empty glass coffee table.
''Wh-''
''The case contains divorce papers.'' He says in a firm tone. Almost sound as if, he's trying not to waver from the choice he has made but has yet to implement.
''D-divorce papers? Why? What is this?''
''What this is, is that I'm ending this marriage.'' He says taking a seat across from her.
''The hell you are! Why?''
''I simply... found someone better.'' He says bluntly.
''So that bitch you've been sleeping with behind my back and Jimin's, that's who you're leaving your family for?'' She asks. ''A homewrecker?!''
Slamming his hand on the table, he catches her by surprise. ''She's not a bitch, or a homewrecker, or any other vulgar names you could think of calling her.'' He adds in. He opens the case and pulls out the papers. Placing them on the table, he takes out a pen and puts it on top.
''I-I don't understand this?''
''Well, let's hope you do so soon.''
''Yung Ji... Why her, why now?''
Sighing, he lets it out. ''I love her. I proposed. We're getting married in a couple of weeks, and the last thing that needs to be finalized is me ending this with you.'' He explains.
''Y-you did what?''
''Aish, I'm not arguing with you on this. I have things to prepare. So I'll leave this here, sign it and I'll come back tomorrow to get them.'' He stands up and fixes his suit.
All she could do is just sit there, in shock, tears unknowingly streaming down her face.
''Don't take this too hard on yourself. Let's try to keep your feelings out of this and do this as simply an ending marriage.'' He doesn't look at her as he speaks and walks off and out of the door.
It takes a few seconds for it fully process in her head, and once it does, she breaks down. Hollering. And Jimin can hear it all the way up in his room. He already knows, so instead of asking when he comes down, he simply throws his arms around her and let her soak his long sleeve shirt in tears.
He feels bad. But there is nothing he can do. "This is something that she can either work out or deal with" he thinks to himself.
He officially hates and detests that man. He disowned him as his father because of what he had done. His mother was already working to the bone while he did shit around the house. All he knew how to do, is sleep, eat, and apparently dip his dick in other females and that really disgusted Jimin.
From that day, he vowed to never talk to him, never see him, meddle with him, or have anything to do with the guy that to him just put his sperm in his mother.
