''What is it?'' Taehyung asks.
''Um...'' Jin hesitates to speak. He wants to tell them what has got him so skeptical, but he's unsure.
''What did he do?'' Jimin asks. ''I've known you since forever, so don't lie Jin.'' He adds.
''We had an argument. On our way back to the house from the wedding planner's office, I kept on asking him why he seemed so uninterested in the planning. Like he just didn't care at all.'' He starts. The three guys are paying close attention to his words. ''He told me to drop it, that it was nothing at all. I didn't believe him, so I kept pushing. He snapped, and yelled at me.'' He continues.
''Okay.'' Jungkook encourages him to continue.
''He told me that he was having second guesses about the wedding. Basically, commitment issues.'' Jin finishes.
''The hell?'' Tae jumps in.
''You guys have been together since you both graduated college. Five years! Why is he having issues now?'' Jimin asks.
''That's what I tried to figure out. He told me that, it's just nervousness for the wedding, but I'm still feeling uneasy.'' Jin voices the rest of his concerns.
''I think that he probably does only have nervousness,'' Kookie adds in. ''I mean look, even the best couples that have been together for years, maybe a decade still got nervous before having to say those two assuring words in front of friends and family.'' He explains. ''You and Namjoon are practically married, you now have the ring to prove it, you just haven't celebrated it yet.'' He reassures him.
''That did ease my mind a little.'' Jin smiles with relief.
''The two of you guys can't be nervous. Since you are so sure about this, ease him through it, don't argue about it.'' Junkook finishes.
''Is he coming over for dinner?'' Tae asks. Jimin thought that it would be a nice idea if they all got together and had dinner and a little hang out. They haven't done so in a while, considering everyone has been busy with their life.
''Yoongi's coming?'' Jin asks.
''Yeah. I also invited Hobi.'' Jimin says as he places the plate on the table.
''Hobi?'' Jungkook looks at him.
''His best friend. The guy I go dancing with from time to time. And we teach the classes at the studio downtown.'' He explains.
''Wait, you're working?'' Jin asks, shocked. Jimin has actually been doing this with J-Hope for a few months now. Ever since he went dancing with him, the first time.
''Yeah. I was going to say something when we're all together like now, but Joon and Yoongi can find out later.'' He explains.
Jin decided to make sushi. It was simple, classic, and everyone who's eating likes it. There were some beef strips prepared, and Tae had brought out the mini grill.
The clock strikes 7:00 and the table is set, food and drinks, and the guys had cleaned up. and ten minutes later, Yoongi shows up, Joon right behind him, and Hobi three minutes or so after.
Greetings and acknowledgments happens around the group, and at the moment, they are all sitting, chopsticks in hand and ready for dinner.
''This looks nice.'' Hobi compliments.
''Thank you,'' Jin responds.
''Let's see if it tastes the same.'' Jimin teases, causing everyone else to laugh.
As the laughter and noise die down, the conversation starts happening. ''I haven't seen you since the hospital Yoongi. How are you?'' Jungkook asks. He and Yoongi had started growing a small friendship with each other, a year ago when Jungkook was in the hospital.
''I'm good. Busy and all, but good.'' He responds.
''Alright. I have some news.'' J-Hope speaks up.
All heads at the table turn to him. ''Do tell...'' Yoongi looks at him.
''I met someone. A guy to be exact.'' He shares.
''Wait, you're into guys?''Jungkook asks.
''Yeah. I thought it was obvious to you guys, considering you're all into guys.'' He explains.
''Who is he?'' Yoongi asks. Being his best friend, he was curious as to who he was seeing.
''You'll just have to wait to meet him Yoongi. I'm not sharing anything yet, not until I know there's a possibility of it going further.'' He explains.
''Alright. Good for you. I hope it works out.'' Jin smiles.
Dinner is going fine so far. The food is being devoured bite by bite, and light conversation is being made. Jimin decides, although it's no big deal, he should tell Joon and Yoongi about his job.
''Well, he shouldn't be the only one with news to give.'' He points to J-Hope.
''Well, what's your news?'' Namjoon asks.
"I got a job at the dance studio downtown. I've been working there with J-Hope.''
''Oh really? That's nice.'' Namjoon congratulates him.
''I already knew,'' Yoongi mumbles as he stuffs his face.
''Wait, what?'' Jimin turns to Yoongi.
''I kind of told him.'' J-Hope mumbles.
''Hobi!'' He leans over and smacks his arms.
''Hobi?'' Yoongi asks.
''I asked the same thing when he called him that earlier.'' Jungkook butts in.
''Ow!'' Hobi shouts. ''I didn't think he was going to tell you.'' He defends.
''Does it matter? I wanted to tell him.'' Jimin hits him again. Before you know it, Hobi is up and running away as Jimin chases him around the living room.
Yoongi stares at the two of them. His facial expressions changing by the second at the two playing around, almost flirting. Jungkook and Namjoon notice, and they look at each other.
''Well! Dinner was good.'' Namjoon interrupts.
''Yeah, it was." Jungkook smiles.
''I think I'm going to go. It's getting late.'' Hobi stops play fighting with Jimin and looks at the clock on the wall.
''Aw... Damn. Alright. I'll catch you at the studio.'' Jimin smiles.
''I'll leave too.'' Yoongi exhales as he gets up from the table. Jimin stares at him seeing the agitation in his face and posture. Yoongi walks out of the house, and Jimin being confused, grabs his phone, and follows him out.
He gets in the car, and during the drive home, the silence in the car is potent. In a few minutes, Yoongi pulls up in the driveway, shuts off the car, and gets out. He walks in the house, not saying a thing, silent as hell. Jimin follows and closes the door. He watches as he throws his keys on the small table and his jacket flying on the couch.
''Okay, what is wrong with you?'' Jimin asks, looking at him.
''Nothing.'' He answers.
''You're lying. You've been irritated since we left the house.'' He explains.
''What was back there?'' Yoongi asks.
''What are you talking about?'' Jimin asks.
''You were flirting with J-Hope.'' He looks at him.
''What?'' He pauses. ''He's talking to a guy, and we're just dancing partners,'' Jimin explains.
He couldn't believe what he was hearing from Yoongi's mouth at the moment. He was trying to not hear it, but he heard it. And it crushes him.
