Jimin and Yoongi walks out of the house, and they casually make their way to the beach, holding hands. Jimin is a bit more calm but still can't help his nervousness. Yoongi seems confident but couldn't be any more scared as he is now.
They walk a few more steps on the beach, and soon the table where his sister and mom along with his sister's husband and another man who he doesn't recognize.
They're all sipping on margaritas, and as soon as Sang Ji sees Yoongi approaching, she starts waiving.
"Hey!" Yoongi waves back, letting Jimin's hand go. Mi-Na who notices Jimin, almost chockes on her drink but regain her composure.
"I'm so glad you made it." She greets her son. "And I didn't know you were bringing company." She darts her eyes to Jimin.
Jimin gulps nervously giving a weak smile to Sang Ji.
"Yeah. Um..." Yoongi sits down and smiles at his mother.
"Who are you? Yoongi has one friend which I know of. That's Hoseok. I've never heard of you." She looks at Jimin.
"Mom, I have to tell you something. I need you to sit down. Be calm, and don't over react." Yoongi looks at him.
"Okay, I'm sure what ever you have to tell me isn't as drastic as you make it seem." She laughs.
"Here we go..." Yoongi breaths out loudly. "Jimin isn't a friend." He looks at her.
"Ok, well is he a co-worker?" She shakes her head oblivious to what he's tryna say.
"No... We're more than that."
"Is he your best friend? What happens to J-Hope. I really liked him."
"We're together."
Sang Ji looks at Yoongi then at Jimin, letting the words she just heard soak into her brain. "What?" Her eyebrows crease at him.
"He's my-"
"Min Yoongi, don't you dare say it!" She raises her voice, standing up with the most pissed off look on her face.
"Boy friend." He finishes.
"Nonsense!" She storms from the conversation and walks back to the path of the house.
"I'm high key proud of you." Mi-Na gives him the thumbs up.
"Yeah wait, time to see if I live." He gets off the table along with everyone else, and follows his mother to the house.
Once arrived... All. Hell. Breaks. Loose.
"Eomma..." Yoongi walks in with Jimin following behind him.
"Are you out of your mind?! You're telling me that the only son I have is with a guy!"
"Yes... and,"
"No, you do not get to talk. How long has this been going on?"
"A year, since Haru and I broke up."
"You broke up with the sweetest girl I've ever seen for him?" She points at Jimin.
"What's wrong with him?" Yoongi asks her, looking at Jimin.
"Do not get me wrong. He is a handsome boy, I can see you have good taste but he is a guy. And since when were you gay?"
"Since forever. I've dated guys before, it's not like he's the first." Yoongi sits down on the couch with Jimin next to him.
Sang Ji is beyond shocked at her sons words, while everyone is in the living room watching, waiting for what's about to happen next.
"I am disappointed in you. And here I thought you were a modeled son, and that all the things your father said about you, you would prove him wrong one day. Now look at you." She spits the words out, and although they're just words, they sting like venom.
Yoongi didn't know what to say. Jimin couldn't stand watching Sang Ji batter his boy friend like that.
"No, I'm disappointed in you!" Jimin stands up, shocking Yoongi.
"Excuse me!"
"For this past year, I'm not going to lie, but I didn't know what I wanted. I've never met anyone who treats me as good and gentle as he does. And I've been nothing but horrible to him. He nearly died because of me and still took me back, and I've been trying ever since to make things right between me and him." Jimin confesses.
"Yoongi isn't a disappointment, and you wouldn't know that because all you do is criticize him on everything he does. He is your son, and you don't have to like me or his choice, but don't downgrade him because he didn't pick what you wanted." He shakes his head.
"What the hell gives you the right to talk to me as such?" She steps closer to him.
"Because... because... I- I love him." Jimin gets out, making Yoongi's eyes go wide at his statement.
"I want to spend the rest of my life waking up with him next to me, and I can't stand watching the person he's worked so hard to become, get dismantled with bitter words from his mother." He finishes strong at the end of the sentence.
Fire burns in Sang Ji's eyes, as she raise her hand to lay a hit across Jimin's face. Yoongi steps in just in time, catching her hand before it hits Jimin, who was already squeezing his eyes shut preparing for the hit.
"I cannot believe this." Sang Ji yanks her hand back.
"Mom, I would never disrespect you or tolerate someone who would. But even I wouldn't put hands on him. Ever!"
Sang Ji, has a frightened look on her face. Terrified that she just lost Yoongi for good. She rushes out of the house, and Mi-Na, her husband, and the other man who Sang Ji brought on the trip followed her outside.
Yoongi turns around, hugging Jimin to his chest. Listening, as the younger sobs loudly.
"That was intense." Yoongi sighs loudly.
"I've never been more terrified in my life." Jimin let's put a laugh followed by Yoongi.
"I know. But what you said earlier..." Yoongi trails on.
Jimin starts to panic as he knows what Yoongi is referring to. "I shouldn't have said it... It was in the head of the moment and-and, it's too early in the relationship..." Jimin blurts our getting cut off by Yoongi.
"Did you mean it?" He asks.
Jimin stares at him, "Yeah."
In that moment... there is a silence in the room. Jimin is looking at Yoongi anxious at what he's going to say, and Yoongi is terrified at what's going to happen when these next few words comes out of his mouth.
