"It's something that I can't do
Then what am i supposed to?
Quite the people pleaser
If only I could please her"fillie
Millie and Finn sat on her couch. The two had been setting there almost the entire day. They ditched school because Millie wasn't feeling well and if Millie wasn't going to school Finn wasn't going.
It was that simple.
The two were peas in a pod, best friends for as long as they could remember. They had grown up together. Sharing toys, snacks, comics, houses and so much more it was hard to keep count.
They were attached at the hip. If Millie was gonna go out to see a movie by herself, "just for fun". Finn was going to tag along because no one should have to go to the movies alone.
Not that Neither of them Minded. It had always been this way. The constant openness and enthusiasm of their friendship making each other both happy. They were honest...
Most of the time.
Finn and Millie both felt deep feelings for each other. They never brought it up nor did they acknowledge their true feelings, they were both in denial because they were both flabbergasted at the idea of them even being a thing.
But it was possible and it was indeed true.
Neither of them knew it but they were constantly flirting with each other and teasing each other. Hell even sometimes Finn would just come to her house and have to make up some dumb excuse as to why he was there.
He was there to see her but he couldn't just say that.
Could he?
She couldn't possibly feel the same way? I'm just her best friend. Mike thought to himself as he turned his head towards the brunette who sat beside him. She was laughing, her eyes trained on the tv and oblivious to the curly haired teen that stared longingly at her.
Millie just sat with her feet curled up on the couch, the bowl of popcorn sat between them. She kept reaching her hands in and grabbing handfuls, shoving them in her mouth.
They had been binging the third season of The Good Place. They had both started watching it and immediately became obsessed with it.
"So do you think that Eleanor is ever gonna tell Chidi that she loves him?" Millie said as she turned her focus away from the tv to meet Finns gaze that was focused on her intently.
"Huh?" He said not even comprehending her words, he was too awestruck looking at her. She was being so naturally beautiful that it literally made him tune out everything around him.
He loved her. She loved him.
They both just needed the guts to tell each other.
She poked him the side of his abdomen causing him to mentally freeze, that touch used to be like nothing to him. Just playful fun between friends but now, now it was different because he knew how he felt.
"I was saying that, do you think Eleanor will ever tell Chidi how she really feels about him?" She asked with a curious gaze, her eyes full of question.
