"I'll stop the world and melt with you
You've seen the difference, and it's getting better all the time
There's nothing you and I won't do
I'll stop the world and melt with you..."

"No Sandra. I'm not doing that-" Millie said into the phone as she paced around her small hotel room. She spoke to her manager with an urgent tone, her manager wanting her to do some stupid publicity stunt.

And that wasn't Millie.

That wasn't the image that she wanted to portray for her fans.

Lately, everyone around her has wanted her to be something that she's not. Her parents, her manager, her siblings. They have wanted her to become a person that she despises.

Millie hated it.

She didn't want to be famous anymore.

That's how much she had wanted this to be over. She just wanted to be a normal teenager and have a normal life but the people that surrounded her and pressured her made it impossible for her to even breathe normally.

She just wanted out.

To be a normal teenager.

To have a normal life.

She wanted an escape.

Little did she know that she would soon have one.

"Sandra, I don't care if it's gonna be good for the tabloids. They have never done me good before." Millie's thick British accent rung as she spoke loudly into the phone.

Her manager responded with a rebuttal which only made Millie more annoyed. She gave up, "You know what? I'm done. I'm going to bed Sandra. Goodnight." And with that she hung up the phone and threw it on her bed.

She put her hands on her head, gripping her hair, screaming in frustration. It was too much for her and she didn't know if she could take it anymore.

She fell back onto the hotel bedroom bed, the queen sized mattress coddling her aching muscles. She felt herself sink into the mattress with exhaustion, her eyes weighing shut.

And as she drifted off to sleep, the words that would soon change her life, left her lips.

"I wish I could be a normal teenager..."

And with that her life changed as her eyelashes fluttered shut.

That's when she felt herself drift into oblivion.

She awoke, sitting up. Her rapid breathing made her feel that she had been running a marathon. She looked around at her surroundings, rubbing her eyes.

The small room that she was in looked familiar but she couldn't place where she had seen it before. She hadn't been in this particular room but she had an idea in the back of her mind of where she was but it couldn't be possible.
