Chapter 30: Yuan's Diary Entries

I, this Yuan, am Young Lady's personal maid since small.

Aiya, but my life as Young Lady's maid is pitiful.

This maid, so healthy and chubby, when I first saw Young Lady, the Young Miss immediately saw me and named me Yuan (round). Immediately the other servants laugh and make fun of me.

I tell you, I was not round. I am cute.

But this Yuan was selected to serve the Eldest Young Miss Sun when she was only five and I was only four.

Although, I was younger than Young Lady by a year, I had to serve this Miss.

It is not easy to be a servant. Yuan's parents sold Yuan for money for Yuan's brother. And as a servant, Yuan need to do many things like sweep floor, cook food. Yuan is only 4! Very round, very short, very small!!

But this Yuan, is not complaining. My life with Eldest Young Miss is fulfilling!

Young Miss treats Yuan well and gives Yuan sweets. Everytime, Young Miss has many ideas! Together, we play and make fun of the fat mamas!

When I see the maids under that Second Young Miss, I feel Wahhhh! Lucky! Lucky mama did not bring me to serve Second Young Miss. Although her face is beautiful, but I say, the maids under her are pitiful.

Sometimes.... I do not see them come back.

Although Young Lady likes to bully me, Haizz, I am still lucky to serve my Young Miss.

My Young Lady has been in bad mood lately. She has just turned 13 years old but today she is hiding in the room, not letting this Yuan serve her.

I say, Yuan feels injustice!

It is not this Yuan's fault that Young Lady is still so short until now! It is also not this Yuan's fault that I now am a head and more taller than Young Lady!

This Yuan does not eat much! My figure has thinned out!! This Yuan also only rarely sneakily eat some of the yummy food Eldest Miss cooks. But not enough for this Yuan to grow so well.

This is the heavens being fair. This Yuan has no good parents, has grumpy Young Miss to serve but this Yuan has good genes.

Again she buys another 10 centimetres high heels.

This Yuan says she will make for Young Miss bamboo shoes taller than 2 bricks for her.

So Young Miss, please stop buying these high "heels". Young Miss will still be shorter than other people.

Young Miss overheard this Yuan talking to myself about her height and has locked me to reflect on myself.

Luckily Young Miss did not take away this diary from me. Yuan might not be educated but Yuan is a trained head maid. Yuan will not bring shame to Young Lady and will keep practicing my writing in this shed.

Yuan is happy that Ninth Prince finally is marrying Young Lady.

He made her wait so long, Yuan was worried Young Lady will lose her spring time. Every year since Young Lady turn 15, she wait for Ninth Prince.

But this time, Young Prince no longer come to Sun Residence.

Second Miss sometimes come to meet my Miss but we do not know why she is coming often as if to smile at us then walk away laughing.
