Jongin is about enter his room when he hears Kyungsoo's voice somewhere at the living room.

"So let's talk about you knotting Yixing."

The sound of someone being pushed against the walls make Jongin lose his grip on the doorknob.

"It's none of your business," Jongin hears Baekhyun say, and the rustle of movements make Jongin turn to the direction of the sound. "Can people stop attacking me like this.. First, Junmyeon, then you. Ugh.. I hate you, people.."

Jongin slowly walks towards where Kyungsoo and Baekhyun are and hides himself behind a wall.

"Did you also knot him because you like him?" Kyungsoo interrogates, eyeing Baekhyun intently and anticipating for an answer.

Jongin's eyes widen as he tries to make the question make sense to his confused mind.

Knot.. Also.. Also like..

"No," Baekhyun snaps back, glaring. "Because he needs a knot, Kyungsoo. He's an omega and he's in heat.. I can't just.. let my friend suffer like that. I won't ever do that."

Kyungsoo looks down absentmindedly at Baekhyun's neck and nods in understanding. "You knotted him because he's special to you.."

Jongin straightens up as he remembers. Kyungsoo told him that he's special. Is it really why Kyungsoo knotted him? Does Kyungsoo truly like him?

"Yes," Baekhyun says without hesitation, putting his own fingers on his neck after feeling self-conscious of what Kyungsoo is staring at. "Yixing hyung is special to me. I did what I can to help him. Are you okay now? Does that satisfy your meddling ass, huh?" Baekhyun says and widens his eyes in an empty threat.

Kyungsoo sighs and lets go of Baekhyun. "Fine."

"Y'all, look.. Stop thinking I'm after everyone's ass.. I might be horny but I'm not that kind of a whore," Baekhyun points out and purses his lips in irritation.

Kyungsoo makes a face and turns away. "Whatever you say."

When Kyungsoo walks away, he ends up seeing Jongin, so Jongin only looks down and bows quickly.

"I'm sorr—"

"It's okay," Kyungsoo says, flashing a weak smile before he walks past him.

'No. Maybe, he's just confused..' Jongin thinks to himself. '.. because Baekhyun told him before that knotting should only be done to someone special to you..'

"How did this happen?" Junmyeon asks as he clenches his jaw and slams the paper on the meeting table angrily, making the other members flinch in shock. "You," Junmyeon mutters and points to Sehun, making Sehun look up slowly from where he's hiding his face in Lu Han's shoulder. "Don't be scared.."

Sehun releases his tight hold on Lu Han's shirt and nods slowly.

"We need a plan," Baekhyun speaks, and puts the pen he's holding down to hand Junmyeon the paper he has just written something on. "He can't be here for nothing."

"What is this?" Junmyeon asks with a frown. "This handwriting is gonna get you in trouble, Baekhyun," Junmyeon mutters and chuckles.

"Junmyeon," Baekhyun sternly says and furrows his eyebrows. "Just read what I wrote."

"Oh, a serious Baekhyun this time," Junmyeon says and chuckles as he reads what's put in the paper. At some point, he pauses and looks up at Baekhyun in concern.
