right when i got off the plane Jaden called me to make sure i made it home okay. he's really sweet but i don't think he understands the fact that we're talking it really really slow. i texted Anthony after i got off the phone with Jaden and asked him how he was. i still love the kid so much and i'm still very mad at myself what i did to him. nothing really exciting has happen in like the last 5 months. we've all been so busy that we haven't done our monthly meetups. me and Anthony are on really good terms now, but me and Jackson have really drifted since our argument about Jaden. i miss him, a lot. but i'm not going to tell him that. Jaden's coming down to Florida tonight to spend a few days here. i think i'm ready to actually "go steady" with him. ————— Jaden's POV
i told Mallory i wanted to see her so i'm coming down to florida to just hang. i really want her to finally say she's ready to date. now that her and Anthony are good again i think it's time. but i don't want to push anything. my uber just showed up at the airport so we stopped at the Walmart next to her house and i got her flowers and sour patch kids. i pulled into her driveway and she was already waiting outside on her porch. we all have a group life 360 so she has probably been following me for a while. She told me she wanted to go somewhere special but she wouldn't tell me where. we started walking down the street and went all the way to Greenway Park. we walked down one of the trails and then there was a patch where there were blankets and lights and everything. i feel like the girlfriend.
Mallory's POV
i made like a "night under the stars" type thing at the park down the street from my house. I know guys normally do that for the girls but i'm the one asking him out so i wanted it to be cute. i finally worked up the courage after about 2 hours of just talking and watching Netflix on my computer outside in the trails and i turned to him and just blurted it out. "i'm ready". he paused. and then just kissed me, it was cute. —————
