"Who's there?"

You heard no reply.

"Come on, I know someone's there."

You heard a loud sigh. Then a silhouette of a person stepped out of hiding.

"Alright. Fine." Bill walked into the moonlight, raising his hands in surrender.

"Bill?" Your eyes widened."

"Who is this 'Bill' you speak of? My name is...Will."

"Har har. Very funny." You rolled your eyes at him. "What are you doing up here?"

"What are you doing up here?"

"I asked you first, Bill." You narrowed your eyes at him.

"Fine. If you must know, I couldn't sleep. What about you?"

"Same reason." He sat down next to you and you both stared at the stars.

"The stars are beautiful tonight." Bill said.

"Yeah they are." You replied.

"You know what else is beautiful?" he locked into your deep (E/C) eyes.

"What?" You asked.

"You." He smiled at you. You thought you could see a small amount of red in his cheeks, but it could just be the weird nonexistent lighting.

"You're such a fucking dork." You laughed, with a small flush of red crawling up your face, as well.

A short, uncomfortable silence passed by. Then all of the sudden, Bill spoke up.

"WOAH!" He exclaimed.

"HOLY FUCK!" You almost fell over.

"YOU'RE NOT WEARING GLOVES FOR ONCE!" You looked down at your hands and realized that he was right, and you weren't wearing your gloves.

"...shit. I forgot about those." You grabbed your gloves, which you had set down next to you, and slid them back onto your hands.

"Come on, (Y/N)! Take your gloves off again." He pleaded.

What the hell Bill? Do you have a hand fetish or something?

"No." You answered dryly.

"You looked fine without them, I don't get why you need them."

"I don't really either." You said under your breath.

"What?" Bill questioned.

"Um...nothing." You both then sat in uncomfortable silence, yet again.

"So, Bill, since you know quite a lot about me, why don't you tell me about you?"

***

"Um..." I thought incredibly hard. Wendy said I can't tell them anything, so I need to watch my mouth.

"I...um...I really like yellow?" Then they laughed that beautiful laugh that can make anyone smile.

...what

"No duh, you dingus. Tell me about why you live with the Pines Family."

"I guess," I took a deep breath. "I did something really horrible to everyone, and when I got through it, they welcomed me into their home when nobody else would, despite what I did."

It wasn't exactly a warm welcome though.

"What did you do? If you don't mind me asking..." They looked down.

"I...I'd rather not say." I looked back up at the stars. "Anyway, they helped me...'become more human.' And, I guess, eventually I did."

They yawned. "That's an awesome story." They said with mild sarcasm.

"Doll, you can fall asleep, I'll take you Mabel's room.

"No, no I'm not tired." I could barely hear them.

"Yes you are." I looked at them and waited for a reply, but they were already asleep. I smiled and shook my head. I then picked them up bridal style and walked into Mabel's room.

I walked over to one of the air mattresses that had been set up on the ground. I laid them on the top of that mattress.

"Good night, doll." I said, kissing their forehead.

If Mabel had seen that, she would have a fit.
