Thank god none of us were looking behind us, because if we were, we would probably have been blinded. The force from the explosion alone had thrown us pretty far. But surprisingly, when we later looked back at the mansion, it was still completely intact. Weird.

But then again, so is this town.

I don't know how long I've been laying this bush, but guessing from the fact that my ears are still ringing, it probably hasn't been that long.

"ᴮᴵᴸᴸ"

Oh, someone's saying my name.

"ʙɪʟʟ"

Stop I'm trying to sleep.

"BILL"

Something really cold splashed in my face and I instantly sat up.

"BILL!" It was Shooting Star. Wow...I've never seen her this happy to see me. "Bill, thank goodness you're ok!"

And now she's hugging me. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this, but she seems really distressed, so I guess I won't push away yet.

...Ok this has been going on for too long.

"Ok Mabel, that's enough hugging."

"Oh! Right, sorry." She smiled sheepishly and helped me up.

"Where's everyone else?" I asked, but from the sudden look of fear in her eyes, I could guess.

"The people we helped evacuate are in a safe spot, but I couldn't find Dipper and Wendy." She looked up at me with tears in her eyes.

Oh boy, she's gonna cry.

What do I do?

Just say something idiot.

"It's ok Mabel, we'll find them." I gave her a small reassuring smile.

That was pretty generic, but I guess it works.

We split up and began searching near the spot we were when we were running before the explosion and gradually branched out from there.

I had only been searching for a few minutes when I heard a shout from Mabel.

"DIPPER!"

When I got to where they were, the twins were hugging like one was going to die. (But to be fair, they almost did)

I just kinda stood there awkwardly while the two hugged.

"Sorry to interrupt," The twins let go, but still kept their hands intertwined. "But have any of you seen Wendy yet?"

"You haven't found her yet?" Dipper instantly got extremely worried. Mabel and I shook our heads.

"What if something happened to her? We have to go look for her!" Mabel gave Dipper a reassuring hand squeeze, which calmed him a little, but not much.

And so we split up and searched for Wendy for the next few hours. We searched in silence, (except for the constant calling of Wendy's name) not wanting to think of what had happened to...

None of us wanted to think of what might of happened to (Y/N), we had more people to worry about.

After about an hour of searching, some of the townspeople joined us. Wendy's father and brothers were the first to join the search after learning she hadn't been found yet.

The entire time we were searching, I couldn't keep my thoughts quiet. I couldn't stop blaming myself.

You were the one who provoked her.
