I watched those two love birds from behind the "Employees Only" door. Not in a creepy way, of course. I was just...making sure they were...doing their job? Yeah, that's definitely what I was doing.

They are so obviously in love.

They just don't know it yet.

I've watched enough romantic movies to know that they are both denying their love. But I also know that they need a little help.

It's Matchmaker Mabel time.

So I casually strolled over by them.

"Mabel! Hi!" (Y/N) said, obviously trying to hide their blushing. "Shooting Star." Was all Bill said to me. He was also obviously upset with me for ruining their moment.

"So, (Y/N)," I said, very casually. "Wanna have a sleepover tonight with me and Wendy?" Obviously Wendy needs to come, because she probably knows stuff about how to help them.

"Oh! Um, sure!" They sounded kinda shocked. "It's just...I've never actually had a sleepover before."

I made the loudest gasp I have ever made in my life.

Probably.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'VE NEVER HAD A SLEEPOVER BEFORE?!"

They jumped back into Bill in surprise, who then fell over.

"Sorry!" They apologized to Bill, who was now rubbing his sore head.

"(Y/N) (L/N), I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU THE BEST SLEEPOVER EVER!"

I could hear Dipper telling at me from upstairs to be quiet. But I don't care. (Y/N) is getting the best sleepover from their best friend who they just met a few days ago.

Now all I have to do is convince Wendy to come.

***

"Mabel, no."

"Come on Wendy! Pleeeeeaassse?"

"No."

"PLEASE WENDY! IM BEGGING YOU!"

"No."

"All I'm asking you to do is have a sleepover at the Mystery Shack and get (Y/N) to realize their feelings for Bill!"

"Mabel," I sighed. "You can't force someone into a relationship, you have to it happen on its own." Mabel sighed and looked at the ground.

"Will you please come to the sleepover? Please?" She looked at me with the saddest puppy dog eyes. "Fine." I sighed. "But you have to promise me to not help them in any way. Or ask who they like. Or-"

"Scouts honor!" She smiled at me as she cut me off. Then she ran back to the Mystery Shack.

I for one think Mabel is overreacting. (Y/N) has always been shy around boys. And people in general, I guess. I don't get how anyone could like Bill. He's evil and manipulative. He earns his demon title. But (Y/N) doesn't need to know about the demon stuff.

She doesn't need to know what he did eight years ago.
