(Y/N)

Before you could finish your sentence, you were suddenly knocked down under the water. And the first sight that met you was Kris's pretty face and ruby-like eyes. His expression seemed shocked as if he didn't know what had just happened.

After bare seconds, he made his way back up to the surface, gasping for air. As you stuck your head out of the water, you could hear Asriel, Kris's brother, laughing like a madman.

"Asriel...why..?" Kris asked, his bangs sticking to his face.

"Why not?" he replied, smiling teasingly at him. Kris sighed deeply as he was about to climb out.  That was the moment when you decided to splash some water on his back. He shuddered as it hit before turning to you.

"Oh. You didn't" he said. You stuck out your tongue.

"Maybe I did" you replied in a teasing tone. He simply stood there for a moment before beginning to splash back at you. A chuckle left your lips as you came right back at him.

"This looks fun! Don't mind if I join in!" Asriel said as he pulled off his shirt, climbing in.

"Now, now. Three is an odd number, someone else should get in..." Asgore said, glancing at Toriel. She sighed with a smile before telling him to get in. He jumped right in without removing his shirt. The three of you were pushed to the sides due to the little wave that was formed. Laughter filled the air before the war came to be.

Kris and Asgore teamed up, leaving you and Asriel to fight together. Toriel sat on a sunchair and cheered for both teams.

Asgore put his big paws only halfway under the water before pushing, making a rather strong wave which almost pushed you away from your spot.

Asriel was next, putting only a small portion of his hands under the water, making more of a splash than a wave. Kris was quick to hide behind Asgore who took the attack with a laugh.

"You'll have to try harder than that, son!" he said with a big smile on his face.

"Oh, we'll show you! Go Y/N!" Asriel said as he placed a hand on your shoulder.

"Wait isn't it my tu-" Kris started before you held your hands into the air. A fair amount of magic gathered at your fingertips before beginning to pull the water from underneath. Everyone's eyes widened as the water moved above.

"Well uh... Get them!" Asriel shouted as he pointed at Kris and Asgore.

"Kay!" you said before slowly lowering your hands, bringing down the massive wave of water down towards them. But before it hit, you separated it into smaller drops, gently moving the rest back into the pool.

"Why didn't you give it your all?" Asriel asked as he scratched his neck.

"I figured you wouldn't want your floor wet" you responded with a smile.

"Thank you, Y/N. We appreciate it" Toriel said with a soft expression. You looked at her as you did the same. That was when Kris suddenly shot forward, splashing water into your face. Or rather, he tried as the water simply became part of the ball around it.

"Ah sh-"

"Come now children and Asgore... You'll get cold" Toriel said as the battle reached its end. Asriel and Asgore began to climb out, but Kris stayed for a bit.

"Are you staying in here?" he asked.

"I think so. I don't get cold in the same way, I think" you replied. He nodded slowly before climbing up as well.

"I'll go change clothes then," he said.

"Change clothes?" you asked. His face went blank as he looked at you.

"You...don't change clothes..?" he asked.

"Yes, of course I do. But not after something small like this. Clothing is expensive, you know" you said.

"Ah-" he started before Toriel entered the conversation.

"Y/N, would you like to try some of our clothing?" she asked. You shook your head.

"I'll be fine. Don't wanna ruin anything. Besides... I guess I should head home soon..." you sighed. Then suddenly you perked up. "Oh! Maybe you'd like to see where I  live!" But you remembered. It could cause trouble for you. "No..wait.."

"Do you want to show us or not? You're confusing" Kris said as he began to rub his arms.

"I... want to... but..." you mumbled, feeling your mood drop. "Would there be a way to... make yourselves look like you don't live on land..?" you asked carefully. Both Kris and Toriel gave you a look before looking at each other.

"I mean... it wouldn't be impossible, right?" Kris said, carefully. Toriel nodded.

"Of course not. I am sure we can come up with something" she replied with a smile. Happiness and excitement returned to you as you looked at them.

"Then, I'll show you a lot of stuff! I promise!" you chirped as you climbed out of the pool. "I'll see you tomorrow if that works with you!" you continued as you headed for the edge. "I have so much to plan! I can't wait!"

So you dove into the water without listening further to anything said. But how could you wait? You were so excited it felt like it would kill you! The fear of breaking the law was distant. Tomorrow would be... interesting...
