Time Marches On

"Sometimes things aren't certain, you will never know when you will die nor will you ever know when something amazing will happen."

This is an Epilogue! It is optional to read!

"Grace, can you get the phone please?" She heard her husband call from down stairs. She sighed, the baby was crying loudly and the 4 year old twins was clinging to her legs.

"Neil can you please help him?" She asked the teenager who was somehow reading a book within all the noise.

"But-"

"Neil Anderson come take care of your sisters in brother this instant!" She called to the boy.

She heard a groan before the crying baby was taken from her and the 4 year olds were coaxed of her legs so she could answer the phone.

"Hello?"

"Grace? Hey it's Charlie!"

She smiled at the man on the other line.

"Hello Charlie, what possessed a big shot producer like you to call?"

"Well I had this idea for a movie I wanted to run by your husband, is he around?"

"I'll see what I can do."

She put the phone beside the receiver, and collected her youngest who was still crying.

"Todd! Phone for you!" She called to her husband in his office.

"Ok, ok I'm coming!" He called back.

She sighed as she claimed her youngest and her husband got on the phone.

"Mommy, Neil won't read to us!" The twin girls whined.

"Neil" she started

"But mom it's poetry, they wouldn't understand it!"

"Please?" She begged.

"Fine."

So he read. The noise level in the house decreased dramatically as Neil conjured a story, from the simple poem.

She smiled, he was just like her Neil.

"What was the movie Charlie wanted to talk to you about?" She asked her husband after they had finally go to bed.

"He's going to make a movie about us."

"What? Like about Welton and the Dead Poets Society?"

"Yeah! And he wanted to know if I'd be ok with it, but he did say to tell you you won't be there because if he put you in there he couldn't include the part where you reviled yourself, so there's no point."

She feigned annoyance. Then smiled.

"That's amazing news honey."

"I know! He wants me to look over the script tommorow."

She smiled then yawned.

"That's great sweety, sweet dreams love." She snuggled next to him.

Her mind wandered to how they had gotten there. Knox and that girl had gotten married and had a few kids. Charlie was a movie director in Hollywood. Todd was an Author of amazing books. Meeks and Pitts were both scientist and they had moved in together and even adopted a little boy.

Grace felt lucky, yeah it hurt when Neil died but they continued. And she would make sure that they would.

That's just how it goes.
