Life Continues
"And once the storm is over you won't remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won't even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm's all about."

The sobs of the crying boy made her come back from those memories. She could feel the wetness from his tears and snot start to become uncomfortable and she shifted. He seemed to be running out of tears or at least feelings because he had stopped hiccuping and shaking. She pulled him back and looked at him. His eyes were puffy and cheeks raw and wet. She sighed, and pulled him close to her again for a hug.
"We're going to get through this, it's just going to take a bit longer, I guess." She stroked his hair as his sniffles seemed to become less and less.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. I was feeling ok one second, I even thought that I could go through the day without him. But then the principal said that and I don't know it just hurt me." The boy said, his voice ruff from crying. He pulled away and wiped his face and eyes.
She looked at him longingly. She wanted to be there to help him, but that wouldn't always be the case. She had to make sure he would be ok without her. She would be leaving soon after all.

Cameron was mad. Not just a normal mad but a festered one. He couldn't stand that everyone was still so sensitive about Neil. He also couldn't believe how she could still baby Todd.
*Snap*
His lead broke, again.
He sighed and got up to sharpen his pencil. It's not that he wasn't sad that Neil was gone, he was. But it's been ages ago since it happened and she's still pulling the boy to private locations to cry. She had never done that with him, so why did Todd get special treatment?
She's in love with him.
The pencil sharpener snapped, and the teacher looked up at him.
"Young man what are you doing?" The teacher asked, clearly upset and confused about why Cameron would try to break his pencil sharpener.
He didn't hear the teacher just stood there in his own world. That though made his festered anger twist into something horrible. He was shaking anger filling his mind. He couldn't care anymore about that warning she had given them months ago all he cared about was separating Grace and Todd.
They weren't supposed to end up together, we were!
He turned to the teacher as the teacher asked for the third time what he was doing.
"I know who murdered Neil."

Meeks looked towards the soccer pitch as he sat on the sidelines. Sure gym wasn't his thing but he could watch Pitts play all day. He was tall and might not have had the strongest kick or be the fastest, but to Meeks he was the best out there. The sweat running down from his hair onto his face was beautiful. The way his legs flexed was captivating. But the best feature was his butt when he dropped down to pick up the ball.
Meeks adored Pitts, but of course it could never be. His father was barely able to afford sending him here, and he needed to focus on studies and marrying some rich girl. He couldn't be like Neil and Todd who were born with silver spoons.
He watched as Pitts got into position to stop the ball from going in the goal. He sighed appreciating the boy. The jersey he wore stuck to him. Meeks got lost in his head at the sight. He imagined wearing it after love making and how it would be too big on him and Pitts would grab him by the waist and-

The whistle snapping him out of his day dream and to the field. Pitts had missed the ball, and the other team was celebrating. Meeks sighed and watched as the coach called all the boys in. He got up to huddle together knowing that after this he could go in and continued his day dream in his room.
He stood beside some kid until Pitts pushed his way between them. He looked at his best friend and noticed how the sweat ran down his neck. His mind turned to mush and his cheeks flushed as he imagined licking the sweat. He shook his head and turned to focus on what coach was saying.
He couldn't focus though because of how close Pitts was to him. And when everyone said "yes coach" he turned to see everyone going to collect their water bottles and start heading in.
Pitts looked down at Meeks to see him red. He was confused until he saw how close they were. He knew that Meeks got uncomfortable when they were that close but he never knew why. He gave an awkward smile and turned to get his water bottle. Meeks had started to walk in and Pitts speed walked to catch up with his friend and talk about the game.

Ok that's it for this chapter. I know it was kinda a filler and I told the author to make something worth reading but she won't listen to me. Anyways, Cameron is a douch and after this it'll get spicier. Hopefully you enjoyed the Metts? Idk the ship name, but Meeks x Pitts. It's going to be around a bit more... Hope all you lovely people enjoyed it, I'll be back for chapter 9 after the author decides to do a character sheet. If you enjoyed or have just been reading the book this far please vote for it and comment. I don't mind criticism for the authors shitty writing, so let me know so I can call her out on it. See you in the next chapter! Bye!🦕🌻🍨
