Our lips gently touch. Our movements are slow and passionate. Is this really happening? Grayson's hands move down from my face to my waste, pulling me closer to him. I feel him lightly press me against the railing of the balcony.
We pull away from each other and our breathing is heavy.
"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that." Grayson says as his lips curl into a smile.
I chuckle and look down at the ground.
"I really like you, Tia." He adds.
"I like you too." I look up and smile widely. It quickly starts to fade away as I let my thoughts get the best of me.
"I know you are scared of relationships, and I know you don't have a lot of trust in people.. But I want you to know that I would never hurt you like that." He reassures me.
I don't hesitate to rap my arms around his neck and bury my face in the crook of it.
Grayson hugs me back and whispers something I hope he won't regret saying.
"You can trust me."
And I hope I won't regret believing him.
