HANNA'S POV

"You're okay.." I say and sniffle through tears. "I promise." I lightly brush my hand on Tia's cheek.

She's been unconscious for two weeks now. She has a broken ankle, a sprained wrist, and a severe concussion. The bruises and cuts on her face haven't faded at all since the crash.

The doctors say she's gonna wake up soon. I hope they're right.. I miss my best friend.

"Hanna, sweetie, I got you some food from the cafeteria if you're hungry.." My mom places a small trey of food on a table in the corner of the  large hospital room.

"I don't know if I'm very hungry.. thank you though." I shrug and look at my mom with tired eyes.

"That's what you said about your last meal." She picks up a bag of McDonald's from the table that was untouched. I never ate one bite of it.

"Get some rest honey." My mom adds. "Tia would want you to. You know how she hates when you are sad." She gives me a weak smile and walks out of the room.

I continue to stare at Tia. Why did this have to happen to her? To her mom and Kenzie? Oh god, poor little innocent Kenzie.

"Hey." A voice says at the door.

I turn around and see Grayson holding another bouquet of flowers. I can't count how many flowers Grayson has brought into this room. Balloons, flowers, chocolates. All in hopes that she wakes up soon.

Following behind Grayson is Ethan.

"Hi guys." I stand up and hug them.

"Has she woken up at all yet?" Ethan asks. I only shake my head no, returning my gaze to Tia.

Grayson sets the flowers next to her bedside, kneeling down next to her. He leans in and kisses her cheek, playing with a small piece of her hair.

"We all love you Tia." Grayson says softly. "I love you. So much." He kisses her cheek again.

This only makes me tear up even more and I snuggle my face into Ethan's chest. He wraps his arms around me, kissing the top of my head.

It's dark out now and it's time to go to sleep. As if I could go to sleep anyways. The doctors are allowing us to sleep in the room with Tia.

Ethan has been sleeping in one of the chairs in the corner, I've been sleeping in one of the chairs next to Tia's bed, and I can't even tell if Grayson has been sleeping at all. He always stays kneeling next to her bed, gently holding her hand and resting his head on the mattress.

We all get into our normal sleeping places and attempt to escape reality through sleep.
