"JAMES BREAKFAST IS READY!" Winnie shouted from the kitchen. James quickly put on his clothes for the day and brushed his teeth. He went to the kitchen and sat down next to Mika. Winnie places a plate with pancakes in front of him. Mika scoops a spoonful of fruit and pour it into James' plate. He glared at her but still ate it. "James are you excited to start school today." James shrugs. "Come on Bucky, I'm sure it won't be bad." Mika says. "I guess." James says. Winnie, Mika, and George share a look. "Go get ready bud." George says. James goes off to his room to get his stuff. He comes back out with his backpack and a jacket. George, Mika, and James all exit the house and pile into the car. George drops Mika off at school first. "Buck remember what I told you. If they don't like you then they must be crazy because you are a great kid. Be good at school. Love ya squirt. " Bucky smiles and replies, "love you too." Mika smiles back "bye guys. " "Bye honey. Have a great day. " "Bye Mika." George then drives off to Bucky's school. He parks the car then they both go off to the office.
A lady is sitting at a desk filling out papers. She notices the two walking in. She smiles, "Hi, how may I help you two? " "Um I'm here to register my son. " "Oh, give me one second while I get the paperwork." She then ventures off to a filling cabinet the pulls out 3 papers the clips them on a clipboard. She highlights a few things then returns back and hands it to George with a pen, "Just sign the marked areas then I'll have him enrolled in no time. Now I should inform you school days are only Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8:00am to 1:00pm." George nods as he fills out the paper work. He finishes it then hands it to her. She then goes off to do some other things. When she returns she says,"Alright, he will be in room 23a which is right over through that door, but she is right out side by that gate. " She points, "The teachers name is Miss. Benson. She is wonderful and great with kids. I'm sure your son will be fine." "Thank you. Can I take him there?" "Of course, here put this on your coat. It's protocol." She hands him a sticker that says Visitor. "Okay."
The two then go outside and walk up to Miss. Benson. "Um hi. I'm George and this is James. He's a new student of yours." George extends his hand to shake hers. She smiles, "Oh how Wonderful. Hello James I'm Miss Benson." She offers to shake his and he takes it. "Hi." "Would you like me to show you around your new classroom?" "Yeah! " George checks his watch. "Bucky I'm going to go okay? Are you going to be okay?" He asks. Bucky nods his head. "Alright. Be good. Oh and it was a pleasure meeting you Miss Benson." "Pleasure is all mine. " George then goes off. Miss Benson takes James inside the classroom and shows him where to put his things. "James is there a name you would like me to call you?" "Bucky." "Okay Bucky. You can go outside to the playground to play or you can stay in here and play with these toys." "Bucky nods then goes over to a set of legos and starts to build things. Miss Benson then goes back outside.
A girl with red hair comes up to Bucky and sits next to him. "Hi I'm Natasha Who are you? " "I'm Bucky." "Are you new? " James nods. "Oh. You wanna be friends?" James then smiles. "Sure." "YAY! Come on I want you to meet my other friends." "Okay" She grabs Bucky's hand then leads him to a group of boys. "Guys look I made a new friend. His name is Bucky." "Hi Bucky I'm Clint and this this Stebe." The boy with an arrow on his shirt said. The other boy, Steve, waved at him "Hi." Just then the bell rang and more students came in followed by Miss. Benson. She closes the door and everyone sat down at a desk. Natasha pulled Bucky by the hand and lead him to the desk. "Here sit down next to us." She said. Bucky sat down then Miss Benson started to talk to everyone. "Alrighty Good Morning everyone. " "Good morning Miss. Benson." They all say in unison. "Alright class today I want you all to meet someone special." She motions for Bucky to stand and come to her.
He does so and she says," This is Bucky. He is new to the area. Say hi everyone." "Hi Bucky. " they all say. He looks around and sees everyone's faces. He sees two very familiar faces then he quickly looks down. "You can take a seat now Bucky." With that he quickly goes back to his seat. The rest of the day Bucky and his new friends play and learn. Letting Bucky forget about having to have dinner with the Starks. Tony on the other hand couldn't keep his eyes off of Bucky. Everywhere Bucky went Tony's eyes followed. He kept getting this strange feeling in his stomach but just shook it off. Now it was the end of the day. Tony was waiting outside by the gate where he usually does for his mother.
She pulled up and he informed Miss Benson. He then ran over to the car and quickly got in and buckled up. "Hi sweetie. How was your day?" She asked as she started driving back home. "It was fun and the boy from across the street came into my class. " Maria glanced at him thought the rear view mirror. "Oh really? " She asked. "Yeah." "That's great now. When we get home I want you to do your homework because later tonight the Barnes will be coming over for dinner." "okay." Was all Tony said. Once they got home he did as he was told and finished his homework. He then went to his room and played with some action figures. In this moment all of Tony's worries went away. All his anxiety was slowly leaving his body. He felt at peace and calm, but it was short lived because his mom came in and told him to come introduce himself to their guests. Tony stood up took a deep breath. He walked out to the front lounge and put on a fake smile. He stood to Maria, "this is Tony my son." "Hi Tony" Mika and Winnie say. George said "hello little fella, This is James but you can call him Bucky. " "Hi Bucky." "Hi" The adults go off to do adult things. Mika takes a seat in the living room.
"Do you like Legos?" Tony asks while not looking at Bucky. "Yeah." Bucky says. "Come on lets ply with mine." Tony says as he starts to walk towards the coffee table. He opens a drawer and pulls out a container full of Legos. "Woah you have a lot of Legos." "Thanks." is all Tony says. The two boys play together and build many structures. "Kids, dinner is ready" Winnie says from a doorway. The 2 siblings and Tony all head to the dinning room. They all sit down and eat dinner. The adults talk about their jobs or things like that while the kids all sit down quietly eating. Bucky was the first to finish his food so he waited for Tony. Once they were both done the two boys ran off to play in Tony's room. By the end of the night the two were the best of friends, but the night soon came to an end and Bucky had to go back home. "Maybe tomorrow we can play again." Bucky suggested. Tony thought about it for a bit then replied, "Yeah maybe!" The two then said goodbye to each other then separated. Tony went back into his room and got ready for bed. Across the street Bucky did the same. The two boys went to sleep that night happy that they each made a new friend.
