Saturday-Before the date
Tony was fresh out the shower and started to get ready for his date. He put on a white collared shirt and placed a blue polo crewneck on top of it. He put on a pair of denim jeans with a black belt. He added a pair of white nike socks and some classic black vans along with a necklace and 2 rings on his left finger. He laid down and just watched some television while he waited for time to pass by.
Bucky on the other hand, wasn't even worried about getting dressed yet. He was in the front of his house working on his bike. Natasha, Steve and Bucky has prepared everything the day before so everything was ready and in its place.
He was making sure his bike wouldn't leave them stranded in the middle of nowhere. "Buck! Come on you have to get dressed for your date!!" Mila shouted from her window. "Okay!" He says as he finishes up. He places his tools back in his tool kit and places it in the garage. He goes to the kitchen and washes his hands.
After that he goes upstairs and gets into the shower. He gets out and looks through his closet. He decided to wear a white shirt with a black hoodie. Over the hoodie he placed a demon jacket and just some regular black joggers.
He hears a knock on his door and lets them in. Bucky turns towards her and asks, "how do I look?" Mika looks at him and takes in every aspect of him. She smiles and says, "You look great." He smiles and lets a small breath. The two sit down in a comfortable silence until Mika says, "why don't you play Volleyball anymore?" He sighs and says, "I don't know but I lost my love for the game. It just wasn't the same."
(If you watch anime and haven't watched Haikyuu!! I feel sorry for you. You're missing out! Anyways, if you do...who's your favorite mine are Akashi, Kenma, and Bokuto, but I love them all.)
She sits there with a sad expression. "So you just gave up?" "Pretty much yeah." "You should try again. Maybe you'll get back into the grove. I mean middle school volleyball isn't the same as High school. So I think you should try again." She says as she stands. She walks to the door and stops. "You should get going, knowing Mr & Mrs Stark you will be getting interrogated." He nods.
"Good point." He say as he stand up and head out the house. He starts to walk over to Tony's house and he begins to get anxious. Tony's Dad can be overprotective but his mom, that lady will kill you in an instant if she wanted to. He takes a deep breath. He knocks and waits for the door to open. No too long after the door opens and he see Mr. Stark. "H-Hi Mr. Stark. I-" Bucky was interrupted by Tony opening the door wider and saying, "Dad! Let him in."
Mr. Stark moves and Bucky walks in. Tony hugs him and he hugs back. "I need to grab something real quick. I'll be back in a sec." Tony says as he runs back to his room. Howard was just standing there staring at Bucky. Maria came into the room and hugged Bucky, "it's so nice to see you again James!"Bucky hugged her back and responded, "it nice to see you too." He said but before he could pull away from the hug she whispered in his ear, "if you hurt my baby in any kind of way I will personally murder you with my hands."
Bucky knew he would get a lecture but he didn't expect it to be from his mother. However he did expect her to include murder to whatever she said. Tony joins the others after getting his phone from his room. "Mom you don't have to do that!! Dad stop staring that rude." He grabs Buckys hand they start to walk out. "Bye Mr. and Mrs. Stark." Bucky says as Tony pulls him out.
Mrs. stark says good buy as the two boys walk across the street to buckys house. they get on the motorcycle and drive off. (with helmets of course) "James is a bit more awkward I remember." Maria says as her and Howard sit at the dinner table. "Well of course he! You threatened to kill the boy." Howard says as he serves some food on Marias plate for her. "Okay you got me there, but aren't any better! Staring at the boy not saying a word."
Howard sips his water then says, "I was trying to intimidate him." "He probably thinks you are an axe murderer now." Howard chuckles, "Those two are perfect for each other." Maria smiles," You think so?" He nods, "Tony seems more happy than when he was with Steve. I glad that he's happy now." Maria smiles ," me too my love."
Tony and Bucky were on their way to go eat dinner before their date really starts. When they pull up to the first location they walk into a 90s themed diner. They sit at a booth and wait for their server. "I love this place." Tony says as he looks at Bucky. "I know. We came here once with everyone and you wouldn't stop saying how you loved this place and that it always reminded you of your parents."
Tony smiles like an idiot blushing. "You remembered that?" Bucky nodded blushing lightly. The two eat their dinner then get back on the bike. Bucky takes the two to their second location. "You brought me all the way to Orange County for the fair?" Bucky smiles and said, "Duh! The fair here is way better than any other city's!"
Bucky pays for the enrage passes and Tony feels bad so make Bucky let him pay for their ride wrist bands. The two boys get on all the rides they see. By the end of their night both their faces hurt from smiling to much. On their way back to their home the boys take is the scenario. Tony hold on tightly to Bucky as they ride underneath the night sky.
Luckily for them, there wasn't any traffic on the freeway so they made it back on time for the two of them to make curfew. Bucky pulls his bike to a stop outside of his house. The two boys get off and Bucky walks Tony back to his house. "You sure know how to plan a date James." He says as they approach the porch. Bucky scraches the back of his neck.
"Actually that was all kinda really last minute... I had something else planned but the details of it didn't work out. I'm sorry." He says not making eye contact. Tony takes Buckys hand in his, "Don't be sorry, I had a great time. You can save that plan of tour for another time." Bucky looks up at him and smiles, " I will." Tony smiles and leans in for a kiss. Bucky does the same and wraps his arms around Tony's waist bringing him closer to his body.
Tony wraps his arms around Buckys shoulders as he melts into it. The two only separate to catch their breath. Tony leans his head on Buckys chest as the two just stand for a moment on a comfortable silence. Tony pulls away after a bit and gives Bucky a peck on the lips before saying, "I better get inside before my mom goes all momma bear on you." Bucky chuckles but nods. "Text me tomorrow?" Tony opens his door and looks at him.
He nods and waves good bye before entering his house. Bucky smiles widely and walks over to his house. The two avoided making any kind of contact with their parents before going to their rooms. They knew that they would get bombarded with questions as soon as they knew they were back. The two did their normal night time routines before getting bed, falling asleep with a smile almost instantly.

I know I kinda lagged on it but at least it done right? Should I interpret the idea of Bucky being good at volleyball? I dunno I have a small idea with it. It would be filled with some agnst but idk. Hope you guys are being safe out there. Oh and suuuupppper late but happy Pride month!! -
