——————————————"Good morning Karen and Jeff." Sergio chirped way too energetic this morning. Part of me was hoping he would forget all about our little deal we made the other day but no he showed up at my house bright and early this morning.
I spent Saturday night with Reagan watching movies and binging on junk food. She was even angrier at Caleb than I was, she tried to go give him a piece of her mind but I refused to let her, he's not worth it. I'm just glad I found out his true colors before I got too emotionally invested in the guy.
"Sergio dear good morning. Would you like some breakfast?" My mom beamed at him and he nodded way too eagerly.
"That would be great thank you. Come on Lex we have to get you ready for school." Sergio grabbed my hand and started pulling me towards the stairs.
"Wear protection you two! I'm too young to be a grandma!" My mom sang and went into the kitchen to start breakfast.
"Mom!" I groaned in embarrassment and Sergio started choking on his own breath. My parents are not like most parents. They think they are young and hip and encourage us to be sexually active, it's weird and makes having company over extremely awkward.
"I'm just saying! I know you're single now and Sergio is a good looking young man." My parents were relieved whenever they found Caleb and I broke up, they were never huge fans of his. Caleb's dad owns a multimillion dollar company that is a competitor with my dads job so the second they found out we broke up they were ecstatic minus the fact that my dad wanted to hang Caleb by his balls for cheating on me.
"I'm leaving now, bye!" I stomped up to my room ignoring Sergio following behind me laughing at my discomfort. Asshole.
"Your parents remind me of my own, they make shit awkward."
"Yeah no kidding." I huffed and opened my bedroom door and led him in. He walked around looking at the pictures and posters I have taped on the wall.
My room is painted a dark grey with white trim. The dressers are black and my queen sized bed has a grey and black comforter on it. There are pictures of me and Reagan, and Shawn, my family, and guys from the team hung all over the wall and some band and soccer posters too.
"Nice room, it's cleaner than I expected." I watched him plop down on my bed and kick his shoes off getting comfortable laying on my pillows.
"I'm a neat freak." I shrugged. Cleaning is something I do when my anxiety is high and clutter gives me anxiety therefore my room stays pretty clean.
"We going to do this or what? I don't want to be late." I huffed clearly dreading this whole arrangement but I'm not about to go back on a challenge.
"I'm not really a quickie kind of guy Lex." He smirked at my gaping reaction.
"Oh you're repulsive!" I threw my hands in the air exasperatedly.
"Calm down I'm joking, I'm always down for a quickie." He winked seductively before climbing out of my bed and walking to my closet. I watched him flip through the hangers for something to wear. The first thing he pulled out was a dark wash jean skirt and tossed it on my bed. He flipped through a few more hangers and pulled out a white off the shoulders top with lace sleeves before ducking down digging through my shoes. He grabbed a pair of white strappy sandals and flung them on the bed next to my clothes.
"You're joking right?" I frowned looking at the outfit laid of for me. Leave it to him to pick a damn skirt. I'm going to be so uncomfortable all day long. Instantly I started to regret agreeing to this because this is only the first day and I'm already over it, it's going to be a long month.
"Lex I'm not joking." He smirked before I yanked the clothing off my bed and went into my bathroom to change. I brushed my teeth and put on deodorant before changing into the outfit he picked for me. The skirt went to my mid thigh but still felt shorter than hell but the shirt was okay even though it showed more cleavage than I expected but not too much. I pulled my hair out of its messy bun and ran my fingers through it thankful that my wavy hair looks decent without doing much to it.
"Wow I'm a miracle worker!" Sergio slow clapped when I walked back into my room. He shamelessly let his eyes trail over my body a couple of times. I sat down on my bed and slipped into the sandals.
"Just so we are clear I'm going to hate you by the end of the month." I huffed before walking to my dresser and spraying myself with my vanilla almond body spray.
"Probably but you'll still have to deal with me for three more months after this month is over so you'll just have to deal with it."
"Hurry up up there! Breakfast is done!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs so I grabbed my backpack and cell phone and made my way downstairs.
"Holy shit!" Elijah gasped whenever I walked into the kitchen. His jaw practically resting on the kitchen table.
"Oh honey you look beautiful!" My mom beamed handing me and Sergio each a plate of food.
"What are you wearing?" My dads mouth was wide as he peered at me over the newspaper.
"I dared your daughter to let me pick out her clothes for a whole month."
"So I have you to thank for her finally wearing girly clothes? And she has to wear whatever you pick for the next month? Wow." My mom couldn't hide the approval in her voice if she wanted to.
"You actually look like a girl for once. Color me impressed!" Elijah smirked before going back to his pancakes.
"Piss off Eli."
"I'm going to go shopping and make sure she has plenty of stuff for you to choose from."
"As if he needs the help. Thanks mom." I sighed sarcastically before digging into my own pancakes and sausage.
"Thank you Karen." Sergio shot her a dazzling smile. Boy this is going to be a long ass month.
"Good morning familia! Dweeb, Sergio." Reagan danced into the kitchen making herself a plate of pancakes and joined us at the table.
"You're eating carbs? Are you feeling okay?" I gasped and watched as she covered her pancakes with syrup even my mom looked at her in shock.
"You're wearing a skirt? Are you feeling okay?" She shot back arching an eyebrow before digging into her food.
"Fair point." I huffed taking a bite of sausage.
"But I have to admit you look hot. You know how much I've tried to get you wear stuff like this and you almost kick my ass because of it. If I would have known all I'd have to do is dare you to wear it for you to actually agree I'd have done that a long time ago." She shoveled a huge bite into her mouth.
"Karen thank you for breakfast. Bye Reagan. I'll see you at school Lex." Sergio sat his dishes in the sink before leaving.
"We better get going! Bye mom, dad! Love you." I tossed my dishes into the sink.
"The guys are going to give you hell all day." Reagan smirked making me groan as we piled into her car.
"Oh believe me I know."
