"Hello girls! Oh my God what happened to your face?" My mom dropped the pan she was holding on the counter and rushed over to my side instantly.

"I slammed on my breaks and almost killed her!"

"Oh honey I'm sure it wasn't that serious! Are you girls okay? Why didn't you call me?" My mom placed a kiss on top of the band-aid before making sure I was okay.

"We are both okay mom. I didn't call because it wasn't a big deal. I'm okay. I'm alive. Now what's for dinner? I'm starving." On que my stomach started growling finally ready for some food.

"I'm making lasagna it will be ready in about an hour or so. There are snacks in your room but they are for after dinner! I don't want you to spoil your appetite by eating junk first." My mom warned in that deadly serious motherly voice that let me know she meant business.

"We are going to go watch tv until it's ready! Love you." I yelled and bolted up the stairs two at a time until we reached my room. I shut the door and grabbed some gummy worms. Like I said I'm starving and a few won't hurt.

"Okay spill. I've been patient with you all day but now I want answers." Reagan grabbed some gummy worms from the bag and sat down. So I started at the beginning where he took me to the mountain to the kiss to the dragging me through the school and facility to him begging to talk to me to us running in practice.

"I told you he likes you! But noooo you don't listen. That's it?" She pried does she know I'm hiding more? Do I tell her about the shower? She's doing to lose her mind.

"No there's more." I feel my whole face ignite as if it was on fire. I have no doubt that it's bright red.

"Spill it Patterson." So I do.

"I was walking away from him well stomping away actually and he grabbed me and kissed me right there in front of everyone. It was hot like hot hot he got hard and everything." I covered my face with my hands to hide the embarrassment I felt from saying it out loud.

"And then what happened?" She smirked knowingly.

"He carried me into the girls locker room and took a shower with me." I shrugged trying to play it off but she knew better.

"You had sex with him didn't you!?" She gasped reaching for more gummy worms.

"No but fuck I wanted too badly." I groaned as I confessed how much I wanted to bang Sergio Gonzalez.

"So what did you do?" She asked slowly curiosity laced in her voice.

"I didn't do anything." I admitted honestly.

"You're so prude Al spill it already." She whined begging me for more info so nosey she is.

"He just fingered me it's not that big of a deal." I shrugged but it was, it is a big deal to me.

"Holy shit! That's huge!" Her eyes widened to the size of saucers as she processed everything I just told her.

"He said he wants to date me, that he's never dated before but now he wants to because of me. He wants to treat me how I should be treated. We are going out Friday night." I added finishing up catching her up to speed.

"Bitch I told you he likes you! I hate to say I told you so but I told you so!" Reagan jumped off my bed cheering like her favorite team win the fucking Super Bowl.

"Shut up Reag. You were right there are you happy?" I groaned throwing myself backwards on my bed.

"Oh I'm peachy!"

"Can I please help you get ready for your date?" She threw her hands together begging me and before I knew it I was nodding in agreement.

"Fine, but you're not forcing me into a fucking dress and I am not caking on a shit load of make up." I laid down my ground rules and she waved her hand dismissively.

"Do you think it's too soon? For me to be dating someone else?"

"Hell no! Alex Caleb was sleeping with someone almost the whole time you two were together. I know what you're thinking that you are going to look like a whore but you aren't. The whole school knows what he did to you. You deserve to move on. Sergio seems to really care about you based on what you have told me. You don't have to worry about him cheating on you. Now stop overthinking and let's go eat before I demolish all this candy." My mom yelled dinner was ready ten minutes ago and we were both breathing heavy in anticipation.

"Wait until your parents find out." Fuck! I completely forgot about that! Oh they are literally going to eat this up.

"They have been rooting for me and the poor guy to get together everyday the past week!" I groaned dreading telling them because I can already hear it.

"Oh I can't wait!" Reagan squealed clapping her hands together.

"Wait for what?" My mom beamed the second we walked into the kitchen.

"Our Alex has a date!" I narrowed my eyes at her.

"You know I am really needing to get a new best friend." I grabbed my plate and served myself a big piece of lasagna and sat down and started to eat shooting daggers at my so called friend.

"You don't mean that besides no one else can handle you."

"A date really?" My brother couldn't hide the shock from his voice even if he wanted to.

"Yep." Reagan nodded popping the P.

"Oh honey that's wonderful!" My mom sat down and started to eat her food slowly and much more graceful than I ever have eaten.

"Go ahead and tell them with who." Reagan pushed with a smirk on her face.

"Do we know this lucky young man?" If she tells them I showered with him I am going to slit her throat.

"Yes, I am going on a date with Sergio. There are you happy?" I shook my head at my friend who was beaming with excitement. My mom sprang up from her chair freaking out so loud that only dogs could hear her.

"Karen honey please you're killing my ears!" My dad begged her to stop but not once did the loving look on his face fade.

"I am never telling you anything ever again big mouth." I flipped my best friend off and continued to eat.

"Yes you will! You love me too much." She is right but right now I want to strangle her.

"Wait Sergio? As in Sergio Gonzalez? The neighbor? He asked you out? Is he blind?" My brother finally closed his mouth long enough to form a sentence earning him a smack on the back of the head from our dad.

"Yes the very one. Now that that's out in the open can we go back to my food. I haven't eaten anything all day and I am literally starving." The topic thankfully changed to my brothers baseball game.

After dinner we helped my mom clean the kitchen before skipping up to my room and started watching movies and doing face masks. I plucked my eyebrows and painted my toe nails while we watched The Last Song which always makes me cry my eye balls out.

"Al I really am happy for you. I just want you to be happy. No matter who it's with as long as you're happy I am happy. He better not hurt you though that's all I have to say." We laid down cuddled up in bed sometimes that's all you need is to just cuddle with your best friend.

"Thank you Reag. I don't want to get hurt either." I whispered praying that he doesn't hurt me.
