In which the day had come for a little take off.
Usually the classroom was alive, pure in harmonic but messy noises, and sometimes, papers crumpled here and there. However, that was not the case today. What are they up to?

Defense Classroom, Ivy University
6:30 AMAs I march up towards my seat, I found out and realized that Kristoph was now gone. I was still confused on why would he resort to murder. After all, I did witness him wield a knife smeared in poison, and it kind of shaked the tremors of expectations I had for him. He was far from it.
And now, he was gone. Probably not staying long in suspensions, but he had been brought to the local Detention. And no, it was not the spare room that you'll have to spend with a somebody.
And now, on his replacement, it was just the very same old Mia we had in our class. Reading a book, and flipping at the next page every much often. She was nothing more, and she surpassed the whispers of her trial. She just sent her fellow defense classmate to jail, and it was followed by replies. Gibberish and almost inaudible if not focused.
She seem to break her attention as she noticed me sit beside her. She greeted me with a smile, politely closing her book as she did so.
"Morning." Her voice was gingerly active.
"Um... I don't mean to ask this again but, what happened to him?"
Mia, nonetheless, just looked outside the window.
"You know how it is, Phoenix. He was behind bars now, and nowhere to go." she paused for a bit. "I could do things I wanted to do now..."
She sighed happily at that. Perhaps jailing him was some sort of cleaning stuff or something?
"May I ask you something, Mia? This is a bit personal, I mean."
"Yeah?"
Damn feeding my curiosity for this, but that was the last clutch.
"... are you cleaning some loose ends? That was very unnatural for a student like you."
Mia raised an eyebrow. Confused and was staring straight at me.
"Hm... great deception, isn't it?" She chuckled.
What did she say? No, wait...
"You do?" I can't believe that went in a cookie jar so easily.
She leaned her head on her hand as she looked outside.
"Don't be fooled, Phoenix. If I answer this way, I put my trust in you. I am not the one who breaks identity for others."
"Haven't you got connections?"
She smirked.
"No. It was too early for you." she insisted.
Even if she was this nuttier to ask, she gave me her trust in this. It was up to me now to keep it concealed.
But I have to know...
"... why would you trust a transferee like me? I'm not even your previous classmate for the last years."
"Oh that? It's... nothing. I just know you that you're trustworthy."
"I see."
It was a full minute of silence before the bell broke it again. Mia put her book inside her bag, grabbed it and would head out the classroom, but not until I stopped her.
"Are you going to the canteen too?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Apollo wanted me to come over there as well, would you join us?"
Mia nodded with appreciation. "That's better."
