(Y/N)'S POV:
The next morning, I woke up to little snores. I opened my eyes to find myself laying next to the boy from last night.
Did I have a nightmare? I don't remember walking in here...He has a firm but gentle grip on me. How do I slip away? Maybe I can pretend that I'm moving around and move to my left...
I stretched, moving my figure to my left and nuzzled with the blanket, making it look like I was still asleep. It did work, for a second, but he turned his figure too and wrapped a strong arm around my waist. I sighed softly, staring at the door.
Okay...that didn't work. What else? He's got his leg all tangled up with mine so I can't exactly slide away and off the bed...is that footsteps?
I did indeed hear footsteps. They kept getting closer and closer to Jim's door.
The door slowly opened to reveal Sarah, Jim's mom. Oh thank the gods.... I stared into her eyes and mouthed, "Help me get up."
Now eyes, PLEASE don't change in front of her! Just stay normal for now!
She giggled and pulled up his arm, making a gap wide enough for me to slip away. I slipped my upper body off the bed, but was hanging there because Jim still had ahold of my leg with his.
Sarah tried her best to keep her giggles contained. She grabbed his ankle and raised it up a bit. I fell off the bed with a small thud. "Oww.." I whispered. I stood next to her as she laid his leg down and pulled up the blanket. After leaving his room, she asked, "Why were you in there, sweetheart?"
I watched our feet as we went down the stairs. "I think I had a bad dream that spooked me. I can't remember what it was though. Will he be okay?"
She laughed as she gave me an apron. "Oh he'll be fine. He'll sleep until noon. He's my little heavy sleeper." She smiled up at me. "Now, can you help me with the orders? I usually have Jim doing it, but he's been staying up for many nights. There's an outfit on your bed, take it as a gift from me, Birthday Girl."
I nodded as I rushed upstairs, excited. On my bed, there was a dress and a long sleeve t-shirt next to it, along with a bow for my hair. I stripped and put them on, slipping my lace stockings on my bare feet first.
The dress was shimmering black and the long sleeve t-shirt was white. The bow matched my dress perfectly. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and tied it with the bow to match my outfit. My breasts sticking out more than usual, I look great! I look hot! I grabbed my locket from my desk, and adjusted my earrings along my ear. Nodding in approval in the large mirror, I went over to a small bag I had and put in some normal-colored contacts in. I walked out of my room, tying the white apron that Sarah gave me before.
While walking out of my room, I accidentally bumped into someone when I was busy with my apron. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry, are you okay?"
When I looked up, it was Jim. Only he was all red in the face and staring me down. I waved my hand in front of his face. "Hellooooo, Jim? Are you okay?"
Jim snapped out of it and coughed uncomfortably. "Y-yeah. I was just going to t-the umm bathroom and wondered where you were, but I guess Mom grabbed you for waitressing. D-did you sleep well? Your uh eyes....they look different."
I smiled and nodded. "I did. Thank you for helping me, and yeah heh I put in contacts so nobody can see them change. Your mom said that you would sleep until noon. Did you have a bad dream? Do you feel okay?"
I walked to him then stood on my tippy toes and laid my hand on his bright red face. "Hmm you feel fine, but your face is super red."
"O-oh it'll go away. I think Mom is waiting on you. A-and I think you s-shouldn't hide your b-beautiful gift."
"Oh yeah? Hmm...maybe-" I gasped. "Ah shit, I forgot, sorry. See ya!" I waved to him and dashed down the stairs, leaving him behind.
I excitedly walked over to Sarah, finally tying my apron around my waist. She squealed, "Awwww you look so adorable!!!"
I smiled as she gave me two bowls of some fat worms. "See those little twins? This is for them." I nodded as I walked over to the table with a pair of baby twins and a mother. "Here you go, and here are some extra napkins just in case!"
The mother thanked me and complimented on my dress. I bowed, and went back to the kitchen. I continued this until noon.
That's when it was hella busy. It was very overwhelming. Sarah could see it on my face.
She untied my apron and slipped it off of me. "You did so well this morning, but since you're still very new with this, and the outside world itself, you can take it to Jim and let him work."
I nodded to her and went up the stairs, looking for Jim. Woo...what a crazy few hours, I wonder how Sarah can do it with no problem. Oh! I gotta take my medicine!
I went inside my room and grabbed my bag off the desk. Shoot, no medicine. What to do? What to do? Hmm.....well if I find Jim, he could maybe take me to Doc's.
I walked out of my room and knocked on his door, but there was no answer.
"Jim?" I called aloud.
"(Y/n)? I'm in here, I'm in the shower so you're okay to come in."
I went to the door that was towards the end and opened it. Steam was coming out and the water was running. I went inside, closing the door behind me.
Ah. So this is where the bathroom is.
"Hey (y/n), did you need something?" Jim asked, peaking out of the shower curtain. He had suds of soap still in his hair. He kinda looks like a wet rat. Heh.
I tried my best to keep my eyes up. "Your mom told me to go find you and say that it's your turn. It's getting too crowded downstairs, and it's kinda freaking me out."
Jim nodded, slipping his head back inside and rinsing his hair out. "Alright, if you put it on top of my clothes on the toilet, I'll put it on once I'm dried off."
I leaned against the sink, listening to the water pour. "Hey Jim?" Dang these stupid contacts.... I quickly took them out.
"Yeah?"
I hestitated at first but breathed in. "I'm sorry if I woke you up last night. I don't remember why or how I ended up in your bedroom, but I'm glad I was safe."
Jim was quiet for a minute. "Wait so you don't remember a thing last night?" I could hear him squeezing and closing a bottle.
I shook my head. "Not after I took my medicine. I've taken it since I was born. Doc said I was a really sick child. I have to take it at night and in the morning, and when I went to take them just now, I realized I don't have any."
Jim was REALLY quiet after that statement. "Hmm. Well, nothing really happened, you were just scared and I comforted you till you fell asleep."
I nodded, understanding. "Is it alright if I walk back to Doc? I have a question to ask him."
"I don't feel comfortable you walking by yourself, all alone to Doc's place. We can just call him with Mom's phone in her room. Besides, I was gonna take you back tonight, I need to discuss some important topics with him."
"Can I come back here..? It's more interesting than Doc's place." I looked up at the shower curtain.
"...of course you can. But like I said, I need to speak with him first."
He turned off the water and peaked his head out once more. "Hey I'm uhh done so can you please step out?"
I smiled as I placed the apron down and opened the door. "Totally! I'll be right here waiting."
I walked through the doorway, catching a glimpse of his abs....
Holyshitholyshitholyshit-! I can feel my eyes turning pinnnnkkkkk!!!!
