{Silver's POV}

"It's hopeless. You'll never get out." I heard a voice say, and I growled, as I turned to the voice.

"Show yourself!"

I snapped, my eyes flashing. "Who's there?" Edmund asks as Caspian left my side, and walked quickly over to the voice.

"Nobody. Just a voice... in my head."

The man said.

"Lord Bern?" Caspian said, and the man nodded. "Perhaps once, but I am no longer deserving of that title."

He said.

"Is he one of the Seven?" Edmund asked from my side, as he helped me up, onto my one able leg.

Caspian nodded at Edmund, and went to the Lord. "Your face. You reminded, me of a king I once loved well."

He said. "That man was my father." Caspian said. "Oh, my lord. Please, forgive me." Lord Bern said.

"No, no please."

Caspian said, as Edmund and I heard sudden loud screaming, and I hopped up to the window, quickly poking my head out.

"Where are they taking them?" Caspian asked. "Just. Keep watching all of it."

Lord Bern said, and I saw Green Mist, and dark storm clouds, then the boat, was gone. "What happened?"

Caspian asked.

"It's a sacrifice." Bern said. "Where did they go?" Caspian asked him. "No one, knows." Bern said, and I staggered.

Edmund helped me back down onto the ground quickly, as I was shaking, and I don't think it helped that I was surrounded by heavy stone.

"Hey. Listen to me alright? You're not dying today and you have not failed at all, any one of us. Are you listening?"

Edmund asked, and I felt his arms around me, careful to avoid my leg, and I leaned my head on his arm.

"I hear you." I said quietly, and as Caspian talked with Lord Bern, I was listening to Edmund.

"We'll get you to Lucy. You aren't dying because of a broken leg. You're coming back with us, and onwards into the Dawn Treader."

He said, and I felt my eyes closing.

"Hey. Stay awake. You have to stay awake." He said, and I felt his hand squeezing mine.

I opened my eyes, but a few minutes later my eyelids were drooping again, and I felt his hand squeezing.

I thought he was going to break my hand, and I opened my eyes wide and I looked at him.

"Don't close your eyes. Not after everything that's happened." Edmund said, and I nodded at him.

"Okay." I said quietly, and shifted around, and I bit my lip to keep from screaming loudly, as I moved so that I wasn't almost on top of him.

I was next to him now, and he shifted his arm so that I was lying on it, and I looked at him, and I blinked quickly.

I saw Caspian and Lord Bern, still talking in the corner quietly, and Lord Bern was looking at us.

"You are the now High King. Aren't you? The brother of High King Peter, the king the Narnians begged for."

He said to Edmund, who nodded at him, and Lord Bern looked to me, and I must've looked horrible, and I saw that there was still blood coming out.

Edmund tore part of his shirt, and quickly bound the blood soaked parts of the wound, and I shut my eyes.

I clenched his hand tightly, and I let out a low growl, and he grimaced and finished it, and I released his hand.

"Sorry." I said, looking at his hand, which was now bruising badly. "It's not your fault. You didn't break it."

Edmund said, shaking it out, and he sat back next to me against the wall, and I leaned on his chest again.

"You're her." Lord Bern said, and I looked at him. "Which her?" I said, as I watched him.

"The Protector. The Wolf Queen. The Stormwalker." He said, and I looked at him, and nodded quickly.

"Silver Stormwalker. Queen of wolves, Queen of the Narnians for at least a thousand years, and more. Knight of Narnia and Aslan."

Edmund said, and I shook my head.

"Now, I'm a Protector, and that is it, and enough for me. Now what was the mist?"

I asked, looking back at Bern.

"The mist was first seen in the east, every report after report came in... of fishermen, sailors as well now they were all disappearing out at sea."

Lord Bern said, and I listened to him, and felt Edmund's arms around me as I leaned my head on the hard wall.

"We lords made a pact, to find the source of the mist to destroy it. They each set sail... but none came back."

Bern said, and I looked at him.

"You see, if they don't sell you to the slave traders... you're likely to be fed to the mist."

Lord Bern said, and Edmund looked at me. "Lucy. Eustace." He said, and I nodded.

"I made no word to protect Eustace, but I will." I said, and he looked at me, and snorted.

"We should just leave him." He said, and I looked at him. "As soon as I can stand again, I'm going to smack you. Hard. I don't care if you're the High King now." I said, and he looked at me. "Relax. I'm just joking." He said.

"We have to find Lucy. Help me up."

I said, and Edmund looked at me.

"No. I just bandaged that leg..." He started, and I growled at him, and he stopped, having never heard me that angry or serious at him before.

"You'll need my help. So help. Me. Up." I said, and he reached out his arm, and I grabbed onto it.

Caspian grabbed my other arm, and I let out a loud growl of pain, as I stood up, and my eyes glowed brightly.

Then I grunted, and I dropped onto my four paws quickly, and sniffed at the bars and the rest of the cell.

"Everyone stop, maybe I can squeeze through the bars." I said and Bern was shocked.

"Sorry, should have warned you. She can speak as a wolf. Scared me too at first."

Edmund said, and looked at me.

"They're bidding on them already. Now. Let's go."

I said, and used my very much now superior strength as a human to bend the bars.

I grunted, and stood up, realizing just now, that my leg was healed.

"Well isn't that something."

I said, and Edmund laughed with shock, before I squeezed through the bars.

"I'm stuck. Can you give me a shove?"

I asked, and Edmund and Caspian pushed harder then necessary, and I flew out of the door with a pop, and cannoned straight into the wall.

"Ow. Not that hard."

I said quietly. "Now I'll find the keys. I'll be back." I said, and walked away, going to find a guard as quickly, as I could, using my wolf disguise.
