{Silver's POV}

I was back in the cell, just before the guards came to get all of us, and we're walked up.

I heard that Lucy had been sold, and I looked at Edmund and reached for his hand, and I squeezed it gently, before, they pulled us apart.

I was put on one side, while Eustace was still being bid on. I heard Reep, as I smiled. Then suddenly, the yard was full of Narnian soldiers.

I slammed into the nearest guard, and kicked him in the chest, and sent him, quite neatly flying over the edge.

I saw that Edmund was blocking sword swipes with his chains, and I was absolutely furious, to see that it was Loyalty in the guard's hands.

I yelled a battle cry, and leaped, and in midair, I shifted, crashing into him as a wolf, and my chains clattered to the ground.

I stood up, shaking the remaining ones off, before grabbing my knife from the body as well, and getting Edmund's chains off.

"Use this." I said, giving him the other sword on the guard's belt. "Have I told you I love you yet?"

He asked, and I felt surprise.

"Nope." I said, and kicked a guard away from behind me, and grabbing Loyalty. "Find Lucy!"

Edmund shouted, and I nodded and looked at him. "I'll be fine!" He said as I looked at him.

I gave him my knife too.

"You always preferred using two." I said, and raced off to find Lucy, and found that Reepicheep had already found and released her.

I walked the streets with Edmund and the others, and I sighed smiling at him and he smirked.

"I believe this is yours." He said, and I took my knife back from him quickly.

"Oh shut up." I said, and he laughed as we walked with Lucy and Drinian and Reepicheep rode on my shoulder now.

"Thanks Reep." I said, and he looked at me. "No thanks required Protector, we all still think of you, as one of our many queens." He said, and I smiled.

"Your Majesty. Your Majesty!" The man that had his wife taken called, and Drinian stopped him.

"Hold it!" He said.

"My wife was taken just this morning." He said, and Caspian nodded. "It's alright Drinian."

Caspian said, and the man walked alongside him now. "I beg you, take me with you." He said.

"I'm a fine sailor. I have been on the seas darn near my whole life." He said and Caspian nodded.

"Of course, you must." He said, and clapped him on the shoulder, and the sailor followed us now.

"My king! My king!" Lord Bern shouted and brought a sword forward to us, and I looked at him.

"This was given to me by your father. I hid it safely in a cave, by the sea for all of these years."

He said, and I felt a flash of recognition. "That's an old Narnian sword."

Both Edmund and I said at the same time. "It's from your Golden Age." The lord said, and I looked at him.

"That's where I knew it from." I said, and looked at it. "It's one of the Seven lost swords." I said, and he nodded.

"There are Seven such swords, gifts from Aslan to protect Narnia. Your father entrusted them to us, when, we, all left. Here, take it."

He said, and held it out to Caspian, who stepped forward to take it. "And may it protect you."

He said, and Caspian took it, and everyone cheered when he held it up to the shining sun.

"Thank you My Lord. And we shall find your lost citizens." He said, and we all walked away.

He walked with Edmund, and me now just behind them, they stopped and I almost toppled into them.

"Edmund."

Caspian said, and handed him the old Narnian sword. "It is one of the Seven, and you are one of the four. It is your right to wield it."

I said, and he looked at me. "There is only Lucy and I left." He said and I felt the pain of missing Peter and Susan.

"I know. But I'm still here as well." I said and he nodded. "You're right." He said, and I looked at him.

"Of course I'm right." I said, and smacked him just like I had promised, and we got back onto the longboats.

I brought a goblet over to Edmund, and he looked up at me. "Thanks." He said, and took a sip, and I looked at the sword, and he nodded.

I picked it up, and I looked at it, and I took another one of the small knives, and began to help him carve off.

I saw Eustace watching, and I looked at Edmund. "What do you think... that he's writing about?"

I asked, and his face was scrunched up in thoughtfulness. "Probably very something completely bloody awful."

He said, and I looked at him. "What did he do to you?" I asked and his look at me, was one full of clear interest.

"He doesn't help us. He treats us like dirt, and he hates us. He writes in that horrid diary of his. He blames stuff, on us, that we never did."

Edmund said, and I looked at him.

"Alright Ed. I get it." I said, and I leaned on his arm, and he looked at me.

"Why do you like me so much?" He asked, and I looked at him. "What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Oh don't play dumb. I know you moved hammocks. Why?" He asked, and I sighed.

"You're the person, who can keep me calm the best now. It used to be Peter, if that wasn't obvious already, until I burned the ring and whatnot." I said, and he looked at me again, listening.

"Then with all the shouting. Now, I guess it's you." I said, and he looked at me.

"The girl seems to be egging him on furthur into doing, some ridiculous, things with that stupid sword..."

I heard Eustace saying about me.

I stood up, and suddenly leaped at him, and landed as a wolf, prowling around him, snarling savagely.

"Silver!" Edmund said, and I snarled, and looked at him. "I'll deal, with this dimwit myself."

He said, and I nodded, and backed up quickly, to stand behind him. "How do you control her? She's a monster!!"

Eustace screeched, and I whined quietly and ducked my head quickly, and backed, away more.

I was now remembering when my father had called me a monster, all those years ago.

"She isn't a monster Eustace. And it's called Trust. Apologize! Now!"

Edmund snapped, and Eustace looked over at him, and shook his head at his seemingly unreasonable request.

"I'm not apologizing to that monstrous... thing! Of yours."

He said in horror, and I whimpered, turning and walking away, and down into the hold, where the hammocks were.
