{Silver's POV}
I was with Caspian and the others in a longboat, and I was taking a turn on a oar, when Reepicheep began to talk.
"I doubt the lords stopped here, my liege. There's no sign of anything now living." Reepicheep said. "Right."
I said. "Well once we get ashore, you take your men and search for food as well as water. The four of us will go, and search for clues." Caspian said.
"Hang on, you mean the five of us." I heard an irritating voice say, and we all turned to look at Eustace.
"Come on, please don't send me back to the rat." Eustace said. "I heard that youngster!" Reepicheep shouted.
"Big ears." Eustace mumbled. "I heard that too." Reep said to him, and now I felt Caspian's and Edmund's laughter, was now shaking the boat.
I was laughing as well, and we ran aground, and I leapt out to help drag the boat in.
"Go on, unload it all."
Caspian said, and I dragged the first boat onto the beach, mostly by myself, until finally Edmund came to help and he did, with the last couple of feet.
"Where were you five minutes ago?" I asked, and he looked at me. "Getting a ride in."
He said, and I punched him in the stomach, before leaving the boat on the beach.
"Look! We're not the first ones on this island." Caspian said and Edmund and I quickly followed with Lucy.
"The lords?" Edmund said. "Could be."
Caspian said, and grabbed a rock, and tossed it down there and into the rock thing.
"What do you think could be down there?" Caspian asked. "I could just go down on my own..." I started.
"No!"
Edmund and Lucy said, and I looked at them both, feeling slightly insulted.
"I can take care of myself, by myself. I don't need a Protector of my own. It is that is my bloody job." I said.
"Let's find out." Edmund said, and I went down first, followed by Edmund and Lucy, and finally Caspian.
Edmund and I were already exploring, and I looked at him, when we saw a weird statue.
"What is that?" I asked, and Edmund shrugged. "What's that?" Caspian asks a moment later. "I don't know."
Edmund said, and I looked at it. "It looks to be some sort of gold statue." I said.
Edmund tore a branch off of the wall, and brought it back to the pool and he slowly lowered it into the water.
He brought it back out, and the entire thing was turned to gold, and he drop it with a cry of slight pain.
"It was hot." He said, and I nodded.
"Clearly." I said, and looked at his hand, which was unburned, but had clearly just made it.
"He must have fallen in." Caspian said. "Poor man." Lucy said. "Poor lord you mean." I said.
"The Crest of Lord Restimar." Caspian said. "And his sword." Edmund said as he pointed into the water.
"We need it." Caspian said, and Edmund unsheathed his own. "Be careful Edmund." I said.
He just nodded, and dipped his sword into the water until he caught, just the edge of the other sword with his own.
"Your sword hasn't turned to gold."
I heard Lucy say.
"Both of the swords, are magical Lucy. Ancient Magic, far, far more powerful then this." I said. "Here."
