8. Not Again

"What do you mean no?" Liam asks walking over to Scott, "Liam, look at her. She's too weak, it'll kill her. We don't even know what the mercury is doing to her. We don't even know if it is actually is mercury. This can't be the only way to save her life," Scott tells him. I stand up and walk over to them, "It saved mine," Liam tells him. "Liam, that was different," I say, "You were hanging off a ledge," Scott says.

"You promised. You said you'd do everything you could," Liam said getting angry, "Which is why I'm not going to do something I think is going to kill her. There has to be," Scott gasps. "There has to..." Scott starts to breathe heavily, "Scott," Theo calls and throws him an inhaler.

Scott catches it and takes a hit of it, I furrow my eyebrows. And I start getting suspicious of Theo again, more than I was before. "There's another way to save her," Scott says. "Guys, I don't know what the statistics are for surviving a werewolf bite, but she's definitely not surviving this," Theo says kneeling next to Hayden again. "We need to do something," Theo says, "Yeah, and I think we need to do it fast," I say looking at Hayden's condition.

Later on, Melissa came in with all kinds of hospital stuff for Hayden. "What is that?" Liam asks when Melissa starts putting bags around Hayden, "It's called chelation therapy," Melissa answers. "It removes heavy metals from the blood," I say, they all look at me confused on how I even know that. I shrug, "I pay attention when my dad tells me about things like this," I say. "The problem is, is that it can injure the kidneys and Hayden only has one to begin with..." Melissa finishes.

She then puts an IV in Hayden's hand, and she groans. "You're hurting her," Liam says and grabs Melissa's wrist, "And you're hurting me," Liam quickly let's go and apologizes. "Guys, remember we're here to save a life... not kill each other," Theo reminds, "It's the full moon," I say.

Scott nods, "We can feel it even during the day," Scott says. "And it's a Super-moon," Theo says, "What is that supposed to make you guys, like super strong? Super aggressive?" Melissa asks. "Both," Scott responds, I have a feeling this day was going to be a long and crazy one.

While Melissa was taking care of Hayden, Scott, Theo and I went over to the waiting area in the clinic. I sat next to Scott and sighed, "You know we're going to need help with him," Theo says to Scott. "He'll be alright," Scott says, "I hope so," I say and start playing with my hands. "He's 16 and in love. First love. You remember what that's like?" Theo asks, "Yeah, trust me, I remember," Scott says.

I gave Scott a small smile, while he gave me a weak one. It probably still hurts him, every time he thinks of her. It would hurt me too to be honest.

"All those emotions mixed with the Super-moon. Tonight isn't going to be good," Theo explains, "I know," Scott sighs. "We need help, and I don't mean restraints or chains. I mean Malia, Stiles, Lydia. You need your pack, Scott," Theo explains, I look over at the two. "I'm not so sure I have one anymore," Scott says, "I'm right here, you know that right?" I tell him. He doesn't say anything, "Let me talk to them. Let me see what I can do, okay?" Scott nods.

I look at Theo suspiciously, I'm not a Banshee or anything but I don't have a good feeling about this. Theo stands up and starts heading towards the door, "Theo," Scott calls. Theo stops and looks at him, "Thank you," Scott tells him. Before Theo leaves, I stand up. "Theo, let me go with you," I say, he looks back at me.

"Are you sure?" he asks, I nod. "Okay, come on," he says, then we both walk out the door.

"First we'll go to Lydia, I think she's over at the school," Theo tells me, I nod. "I think I know why you came with me," Theo says suddenly, "Do you?" I ask. He nods, "You're still suspicious of me, just like Stiles," Theo says. "Usually I give people the benefit of the doubt, but the more I want to give it to you... I just can't bring myself to do it," I shrug, "You might be right not to," he says. I furrowed my eyebrows, I look over at him and he has that stupid smirk on his face.
