12. Slightly Terrifying Theory

After Scott, Stiles, and Kira caught me up on everything that went down in the tunnels and everything about the giant werewolf Liam saw; we went over to the hospital, we walked out of the elevator and saw Sheriff Stilinski. We also saw people wheel dead bodies in, "Who found them?" Stiles asked his dad. "Argent. And he said the Doctors were down there. He also said that you guys might know what this thing is," Stilinski said, "We've got a theory," Scott said.

"It's a slightly terrifying theory," Stiles added, "More than slightly," I shrugged. "Well, the ME said that the victims were killed somewhere else and then dumped in those tunnels," Stilinski explained, "Hey, what if the Dread Doctors are hiding the bodies," Scott wondered.

"Why would they do that?" Kira asked, "Maybe they're covering for it. Protecting it like a parent would," Stiles said. "Protecting what?" Stilinski asked, "A werewolf," Scott answered. "It's called the Beast," Kira added, "We know. Horrifying," Stiles said and I nodded.

"We better figure out what we're gonna call Parrish. Because it looks like his dream is coming true," Stilinski says, "Oh, wow. That's... that's nice, that's just great," I sighed.

We were at the school now, I was with Stiles talking to one of the deputies since there were a lot of them walking around the school with shotguns. "You don't think this is a bit much in terms of firepower for a high school?" Stiles asked the deputy as Scott walked up to us, "Your dad's the one who issued us these things, and he wouldn't officially say why," Deputy Strauss explained.

"Did he say anything unofficially?" Scott asked, "No. But everyone's got a theory," Strauss said. "What's yours?" I ask, "I shouldn't be talking to you guys. Don't you have class?" he asked.

"Come on, Strauss. What's your theory?" Stiles asked, Strauss looked over at the other deputies and then came closer to us. "Do you guys believe in the supernatural?" he asked us, we all looked at each other.

Later on that day, Liam dragged me along to the tunnels. "Why are we here again?" I ask him, "Malia said that when they were looking for us, that they were a lot closer than they thought. That there's an Operating Theater down here, we just have to find it," he tells me. "Why did you drag me along? Cause I could've been with Brett, or Stiles, Mason, probably with Kira," I shrug as we make a turn, he keeps looking around while I just trod along.

I hear a phone vibrate, and I look up seeing Liam reading a text. "Who's that?" I ask, "Hayden. She wants me to come over," he answers. "Are you? So we can get out of here," I say, he puts away his phone and looks up. "Uh..." we both sigh, then we walk a little more forward but my brother stops making me bump into him.

He was looking over at something, so I look over in the same direction and there's Scott. "You lost?" he asks, "Completely," Liam answers. "Completely and utterly lost," I add, Scott comes closer. "How'd you know we were down here?" I ask, "I followed you," Scott responds.
