LINDSEY DUNBAR

Mason and I were trying to look for Liam, after Hayden's body has been taken we tried to figure out where he could've gone. So, I suggested that maybe he was at the police station. "Why do you think he's there?" Mason asked me on the way over there, "Knowing him... he's stupid enough to tell Hayden's sister about what happened. And we can't let him do that," I tell him.

I then got a text from Stiles, saying that Lydia was in the hospital. Parrish had found her in the woods with blood on her fingernails, apparently she carved a sheriff's badge on a rock. According to Scott, it was a warning for something. Since Stiles' dad was also in the hospital Scott thinks it has something to do with that. I sigh, I was really worried now.

Once we got there we saw Liam hiding behind a cop car waiting for Hayden's sister, then as we got closer Clarke walked out of the police station and into her vehicle. Liam was about to stand up but we stopped him, "What do you think you're doing?" Mason asks Liam. "Someone's gotta tell her about Hayden," Liam says, "What? No! That doesn't have to be you, Liam," I say.

"Yeah, especially looking like this. I mean, what if they think you killed her?" Mason says, Liam plops on the floor. "Maybe I did," Liam says, "You didn't. And the last few hours haven't been your best... this isn't the way to fix it," Mason explains.

"She's going to find out, and honestly... it's not gonna hurt any less coming from you. So, I think it's best if you just let her find out on her own," I tell my brother, he has tears in his eyes. I give him a small smile, and Mason and I help him up. Then he looks back, "Lin, do you smell that?" he asks me. I take a whiff of the air, and my eyes widen. "What?" Mason asks, "It's Hayden," Liam and I say. "It's her scent," Liam says, "She's here," he says looking back at us.

"But how? That doesn't make sense," I say, "Liam, you held her body in your arms

"But how? That doesn't make sense," I say, "Liam, you held her body in your arms. You watched Parrish carry her out of the hospital. She's... she's gone," Mason tells him. "It's her. I swear it was," Liam says, I sigh.

"Come on, Liam. Let's go," I say, then we all started walking away.

We went over to the hospital, since Liam still isn't over the fact that Hayden might still be alive or something. We tried looking for our stepdad, and once we did Liam instantly asked. "Hey, dad? Have there been any bodies brought in?" he asks. "No, there haven't been any other bodies brought in tonight, thank God," Dad replies, "No one named Hayden?" my brother asks him. Dad stops and looks over at the three of us, "Mason, take them home, it's 6 in the morning," Dad tells Mason.

"Dad, you're sure there have been no other dead bodies?" Liam asks, "All of you. Home. Now," Dad says and walks away. "We're not going home... are we?" Mason asks, Liam shakes his head no. "No," Liam looks over at Mason, "Well we both know where Hayden's body is. If you want to find her, you're going to have to find the Nemeton," Mason says, "Okay. Let's find the Nemeton," Liam starts walking out the door.
