Our Story

We are running out of time.

The end is near.

We are stumbling along a path,

And no matter how hard we try,

We just can't stay steady.

We can't pick our feet up.

Even with our strength,

We still crash to the earth.

But we can't find anyone to save us.

We are alone.

Thoughts tumbled through our heads.

No matter how hard we tried to push them out,

They wouldn't leave.

More thoughts would pry into our heads,

Leaving us confused.

Leaving us answerless.

Powerless to the Storm.

Maybe one day we'll be free,

But for now,

We must wait.

We looked on,

Past the clouds,

Past the sun,

To the angels singing above.

Our hearts torn from our own,

Our souls lost.

We crept up,

Joining the angels.

Joining their songs.

Maybe one day we will go back,

But for now,

We are free.
