Why me?

Harry's POV

"Doctor will she be alright?" I asked.

"It's hard to tell. Did she receive any big news?" The doctor asked.

"Well I guess so," Liam said. "She found out that she is my twin."

"Hmm yeah. That's pretty big news. Liam where are your parents?" The doctor asked.

"Well they umm..." Liam looked down at his feet.

"Didn't they go to New York?" Louis asked.

Liam shook his head and I swear I saw him crying. I never saw Liam cry. Ever. He slowly walked outside and the test of the guys took a seat and were silent. I couldn't sit. It was to distracting. I needed to know why Liam was acting so weird. He never lied to any of us and was always so cool about everything. I don't understand. I decided to find out why Liam was so upset and started to go outside. I went through the automatic doors and let the cool breeze hit me. I looked left and right and there was no Liam in sight. I walked towards the right side of the building and turned into the alley way. I saw Liam. Liam Payne in the very back. Crying? I couldn't believe it. I get so bad. Why? I slowly walked towards him and slid down the wall next to him.

"You okay mate?" I asked.

He shook his head and leaned on me. As weird as I felt I knew he was helpless and tried to be serious.

"I just thought she would like to be my sister. I know she doesn't like the band but am I really that bad?" Liam spoke.

"This isn't your fault. Please. She probably just fainted. Please come back in. Listen to the doctor. Please. He won't let any of us know what's going on because we aren't family."

He slowly got up as wiped the years away.

"Did anyone else she me cry?" He asked.

"I don't think so."

"Good. And if you tell anybody I will hurt you."

"Wow you and Veronica really are related," I laughed.

"Hah yeah I guess so..." Liam trailed off.

"Mate what do you think you should do?" I asked.

"About what?" I mean she doesn't really enjoy us. You know? I mean I guess she opened up to Louis," I said.

"No. If I know her she just was going to hurt him. Either way I am glad that she let her guard down. It shows a side of her that she is scared to show. The more the opens up the is the easier it will be to be with her," Liam explained.

I nodded and headed back inside with Liam. I started to feel something. What? I felt like I was happy. Not the regular happy... A special happy. Something nobody has ever made me feel before. What was it? Was I falling for Vicky? I shrugged the thought away and waited for Liam to come back from the front desk where he was talking with some lady doctor about Veronica. I was so worried and I could see Louis about to cry. Why is he crying? I walked over to Louis and decided to talk to him. He hadn't said a word since the incident.

"Louis? Mate? You okay?" I asked.

He shook his head, " I feel like all this is my fault. If she hasn't been running then maybe she wouldn't have fallen. I just hope she is okay," he whispered.

I nodded and took the seat next to him hoping for the best. Liam finally came over and started explaining.

"The doctor said that maybe she received news that was just too much. She might have had some back flashes about her past. Also I think you guys should know that her being tough is just her bit being sensitive. I found her journal. I know I shouldn't have invaded her privacy but I was desperate. She was raped. And she was abused," Liam said. "I was uneasy and didn't know if I should tell you guys but after what had happened to her I want her to feel safe with us. Please just act normal but know that she has had a tough life."
