Miley's POV

"That's it, I'm fucking done. I'm not gonna wait any longer, he's gonna fuckin answer my call." I was currently at home with Noah. The kids were outside playing while Noah and I were visiting. "I know, I'm always 'ugh Liam is an ass' lately. You're probably getting tired of me saying it. I wouldn't blame you if you left right now."

"Miley you're totally fine, and I totally get that you're this pissed. I'm not gonna leave, I'm gonna be here for you. You're gonna call him today right? What time?"

"I don't know when, I know the time is way different there though. I don't remember how many hours it is but I don't care, he's acted this way so I'm calling him whether it's 1:00 in the afternoon or 1:00 in the morning."

I get my phone and start a FaceTime call to Liam. As usual, he doesn't answer. Instead of stopping, I call again. No answer. I hope if he's awake he knows he's gonna be hearing his phone ring a lot. I called again, and to my surprise he actually finally answered. Noah got out of the way, in case Liam didn't want anyone else around when he and I talk. I motion for Noah to leave, and she goes outside with the kids.

"Hey." He says.

"Hey? That's all I get? Just a stupid fucking hey? Seriously?"

"You're lucky I'm talking to you at all. Considering what you did."

"Liam you fucking asshole, you know I'm sorry. You know how sorry I am and you know how fucking horrible I feel! Do you even know how much I've cried this whole time you weren't talking to me? I'm a mess, Liam."

"Don't make me look like the bad guy."

"Liam!" I shout. "I'm not trying to make you look like the bad guy. I'm explaining to you that I've been a mess because I haven't been able to talk to you about this whole thing, so we can put it behind us. I wanna forget about the whole thing."

"If you wanna forget about it so bad then stop seeing TJ."

"Liam that's not fair, he's my friend and he's changed. It was one stupid mistake, I'm not gonna lose a friend like TJ. Liam please, can we please put it behind us..."

"I don't know Miley, how am I supposed to trust you while I'm gone?"

"Seriously?" I ask, and he nods. "You can trust me. Besides, if you'd actually call and check up on me you'd know. The kids miss you a lot. You should've seen Leo when I told him you left without saying goodbye, it broke my heart." I start to tear up, and Liam sighs.

"I'm really sorry. I was just so mad, I needed to go. Is Leo okay now?"

"He's a little better if that's what you mean, yeah. They're all still sad. Jessica has changed a lot."

"What's different about her?"

"Since you're her father I'm sure I'm allowed to tell you this, even though she made me promise to not tell anyone. She was being bullied by fucking sixth graders. I told her to tell someone, and I'm pretty sure she did cause she hasn't acted like anything is happening anymore."

"She was being bullied? By sixth graders? What the fuck!" I could see him getting really upset. I know how protective he is over the kids.

"Liam don't freak out, she's fine now. She's just acting a lot more mature now, more mature than a typical ten year old."
