Miley's POV

I'm thirty-six weeks pregnant, Liam and I just got checked in for my appointment. We were talking about the baby when Dr. Walsh entered the room.

"Hey guys." She says, greeting us with a smile.

"Hi."

"Hey."

"How are you doing Miley?"

"Pretty good, kinda tired lately. I love the kids so much but I can't wait til they get back to school. I need to get as much sleep as I can get before Cody arrives." I answer.

"I love that name. His middle name is Nash, right?"

"Yeah. Cody Nash Hemsworth."

"That's great. So you've been feeling pretty good?"

"Yeah."

"Babe c'mon." Liam says. "She's been having stomach aches once in a while." He tells Dr. Walsh.

"Because Cody is kicking. Liam I'm fine. Right Dr. Walsh?"

"Is he kicking every time you have a stomach ache? Or you could just be having Braxton Hicks. Let's do an ultrasound just to make sure he's doing good."

"Not every time, but it doesn't feel like Braxton Hicks. Like I've had before anyway. But it feels like he's definitely moving." I explain as I lie back and lift my shirt.

"He could just be moving into position." As she starts the ultrasound, I can hear his heartbeat. I let out a huge sigh of relief. "Baby looks fine, right where he should be. Strong heartbeat."

"See Liam? He's fine. Now look who's the one that's worrying."

"It's fine, no matter how many kids you already have, parents still get nervous for when the little one arrives." She pauses a moment and looks at the screen, looking focused. "Hmm."

"What is it?" I ask.

"He sure has grown. You might wanna consider a c-section."

"Why? How big is he?"

"He's already twenty inches and almost nine pounds. He still has time to grow even more. Typically at thirty-six weeks the baby is only eighteen inches and five pounds. Let's put it this way- he's the size of a newborn or maybe a one week old. And he's still growing." She explains.

"Oh my god. But I don't want a c-section."

"Miley didn't you hear her? He's a big baby. Babe, you're kinda small don't you think?"

"I don't want a fucking scar, Liam. I've gotten pretty lucky with stretch marks and I don't want a scar to fuck up my body."

"Not to boast, but I'm pretty good at my job." Dr. Walsh says, making me chuckle. "You can hardly see the scar when I do it."

"I don't know..." I wipe off my stomach and sit up.

"You have time to think about it, you don't have to decide right now. Just keep in mind how big he is now and he's still got time to grow. If you decide on a c-section we'll set up a date and time. Just give us a call."

"Okay, we'll think about it. Thank you." I say.

"You're welcome. I'd like to see you in one week."

"Oh uh, I had a question that I almost forgot to ask because I got a little distracted when I found out how big our baby is."

"What is it?"
