Miley's POV    

We're back home and Liam is at his audition. We haven't told the kids anything yet, we figured we'd only tell them when we know if Liam got the part. I was sitting outside in the backyard with Noah.

"So, Noah, you're twenty-eight tomorrow." I say with a smile.

"Ugh, don't remind me."

"Why? What's so bad about turning twenty-eight?"

"It's closer to thirty, thirty means I'm getting old and-" I look at Noah with my eyebrows raised. "I mean uh...thirty is a great age, which means thirty-five isn't old! It's gonna be great turning twenty-eight!"

"Nice save."

"Sorry Miley."

"It's fine, I get it. Where's Logan and Ethan?"

"At the park, having some father son time. Where's Liam?" Noah replies.

"Well, we didn't really wanna say much to anyone just in case it doesn't happen. Liam's out auditioning for a movie."

"Really? Already?"

"I know, I was kinda shocked when Liam told me about it too. It's fine though, he said the part he's trying out for is a big role."

"That's great. Wait, what about your music? Aren't you guys gonna have a hard time now that you both have to be gone? Who's gonna watch the kids?"

"Liam and I already figured it out. He's gonna go during the day on the days he works, and I'm gonna go during the late evenings on the days I work. That way one of us will always be home. Like later today I'm going into the studio."

"Are you sure that's gonna work? And when will you and Liam have time for each other? Or to be a whole family?" Noah asks.

"Well I'm not sure if it'll work but it's what we're gonna have to do. We don't wanna leave the kids with someone else. We promised them that one of us will always be home."

"Yeah but that was before Liam got the offer...sometimes the kids might just have to deal with it."

"I know, I'm gonna talk to Liam about it. Even if he and I both have to be somewhere at the same time we'll have to find someone."

"If it's not too late in the day, let them spend time with friends. Leo and Jackson are great friends from what you told me last. What about the girls?"

"Jessy has a friend named Dena and Cece has a friend named Marie, they're all good friends too." I answer. "They should spend some time with friends. Besides, in the day they have school. If Liam and I aren't gonna be available after school we can drive them to their friends'."

"See? You've got your answers. And Emma and August are available sometimes too, right?"

"Yeah but I'm not sure if they'll wanna deal with three more kids. Mom and dad love them though, I'm sure they'll be fine to watch the kids."

"Well you've got it all figured out." Noah smiles but it soon fades. "Wish I had life all figured out."

"Noah what's wrong?"

"Will you promise to not tell anyone? I haven't even told Ethan and I'm not sure how he's gonna take it." She replies.

"Yeah, of course I promise. I'm your sister, you know you can trust me."
