Today is Cecilia and Leonardo's birthday. They're turning nine this year. I can't believe how fast time flies by. Cecilia and Leonardo are nine and in third grade. Jessica is eleven and in seventh grade. They're all growing up so fast...

"Hey, I'm gonna go get the cake. Do you want me to pick anything else up while I'm gone?" Liam asks, walking into the kitchen.

"Hmm? Oh, um, no. I can't think of anything else. Unless you wanna grab some juice, since we're gonna have extra kids around we should probably have some more juice."

"Good idea, I'll do that. Any specific kind?"

"No, just something they'll all like. We'll have eight kids here."

"Oh god."

"Well yeah. We'll have Jessica, Cece, Leo, Landin, Elaina, Logan, Luna, and Lola." I explain.

"I forgot how many kids we have in our lives..."

"Yeah, our house is gonna be crazy."

"Our lives would be pretty boring without all of them though. Alright, I'll go get the cake and juice. See ya in a bit, love you."

"Love you too. Don't forget your phone." I hand him his phone and he kisses me before leaving. I hear my phone go off. I looked and I had a text from Noah.

Noah: is it okay if I bring a couple toys for the girls? They can't exactly play with the older kids yet

Miley: you don't have to, we have some toys put away from when the kids were younger. We can get them out for the girls

Noah: are you sure it's okay to bring the girls?

Miley: of course! Why wouldn't it be?

Noah: they're only 1

Miley: that's fine. We have some toys put away we can get out. They'll be able to play

Noah: thank you so much.

Miley: you're welcome. When are you gonna be here?

Noah: when does the party start?

Miley: well Liam just left to get the cake and some juice, but people will probably be showing up soon

Noah: okay I'll get the kids ready and we'll be there soon. You sure you wanna get some toys out for the girls? I won't make you do it

Miley: yes I do, they need to play and there's no point in bringing toys if there's already some here

Noah: thank you so much. Okay talk to ya later

Miley: yup, bye

Noah: bye

I set my phone down and walked into the living room. I saw the kids watching a movie. I looked at the time and realized people will be showing up not too long from now.

"Kids, turn the TV off we're gonna start the party soon. You still have to get dressed, why aren't you all dressed yet?" I say.

"But we don't wanna miss the movie."

"It's Netflix Cece, you can turn it off and it'll save where you are, then watch later. Nice try."

"Okay..."

I shut the TV off and the kids got up and went to their rooms to get ready. Soon Liam showed up with the cake and juice, then the kids were finally dressed and ready.
