This can't be real, can it? I couldn't have gone to the future, I'd have to be super fast for-wait, I'am super fast. Barry has said it himself, and Cisco's science readings also say I'm faster than both Wally and Barry and faster than most speedsters they've come across. I must have hit the right speed and just sped right into the future.
The future where I'm dead.
I ran to the cave as fast as I could, careful not to run too fast and go farther in time or something. Though I don't completely understand what I did. The batcomputer had all the info I could need, it could tell me if this is really the future. And if it is, then I'll need the bat family's help and support. Once I got the cave I was too riled up to sit, I ust stood and used my speed to look up anything and everything on myself. Anything that would tell me if this is real or not
As I typed away, I heard a sudden crash "it can't be" and I knew exactly who it was "Alfred, it's so good to see a familiar face!" with that I rushed and gave him a big hug. He looked older, but he still looked like he could kick butt "it can't be" he mumbled again, barely putting his arms around me. He was in a daze, like he was seeing a ghost. Well to him it must be like seeing a ghost. Cause in this time I've been dead for three years. "it's me Alfred...I mean, 17-year-old me. I some how ended up in the future, but I need to get back to my time. I shouldn't even be here, I don't even know how I got here" I kept rambling on and on, Alfred just stood there dazed, till finally he spoke "it really is you" he said, wrapping his arms around me
"you believe me?" I asked, shocked he even thought about believing me "you believe that unbelievably hard to believe story?" I only no one person whose can ramble on a on like that, and it's you dear" he smiled. I was so relieved, if anyone's gonna believe that, it's him. "now come, let's get you a change of clothes. That suit draws unwanted attention" thanks Alfred" I smiled before he guided me upstairs. "do you happen to have any-"cookies?" I just hummed and nodded my head in response"of course, I just made a batch of your favorite" he said, slightly giggling "you never grew out of my cookies"
When we reached the main floor, I suddenly saw a little girl in front of me. She was maybe 4 or 5, she had raven black hair and e/c eyes. She was beautiful. Though she kinda looked like Jason. "Mommy!!" She exclaimed before wrapping her arms around my legs. "Oh dear, it seems they came home from shopping earlier than I thought they would" Alfred sighed. "Robin, what have I told you? Mommy isn't here anymore" a familiar voice called out "but daddy, it is mommy. Come look!" The girl cried out. I didn't understand what was going on, and I couldn't seem to pry her off my legs " grandpa Alfie, it's her right? It's mommy?" She asked, looking up at Alfred. Grandpa Alfie? Mommy? What going on?
"It complicated my dear" Alfred sighed. "alright, what all this about momm-y" the familiar voice was now if front of me. He faultered while talking when he saw me and his went wide. His voice was familiar because it was Jason. I should have known it by his voice, but it's changed, it's not as spunky and additudy. It was filled with 'I've been through too much crap'. "see daddy! I told you! It's mommy!" And in an instant, the little girl was off my legs and holding Jason's hand pulling him towards me till he was right in front of me. "i-it can't be you, it can't. I watched you run into that burning building. I watched you run into your death. This can't be real" Jay mumbled out, scanning me over
"Jay, its me. Well, not the me from this time but 17-year-old me-" you ran into the future" he interrupted "yeah" I said, unsure of what to do now. Jason just stared, it looked like he didn't know what to do either. But I did know one thing I needed to do "you look like you need a hug" I said, extending my arms out to him. He immediately pulled me into his arms, his face nuzzling into my shoulder "you smell the same" he sighed. He smells the same too and it's slowly comforting me. But the moment ended when the little girl came in between us "See, I told you it was mommy!" She said with a lot of additude. Additude she could have only gotten from Jay. "yes baby, it's mommy, but it's also not mommy" Jason tried to explain to the little girl, picking her up with ease
I knew he would be a good dad. Just seeing them together, it amazing. "Robin, this is mommy from before mommy and I had you" but how's that?" She asked with the cutest confused face. "it's ok, how about I take you to have that tea party we planned?" Alfred asked Robin, her face lit up and in a flash was on the ground jumping for joy. I said by as she walked away. "She has speed doesn't she" yep, perfect combination of us" Jay sighed "but she's a monster with it. She thinks she can get away with anything because of it" he slightly giggled
"come on, I'll get you some new clothes" with that Jay grabbed my hand and led me upstairs. It's all so weird yet amazing to see this. I just met my future daughter who has speed, she's gonna be a handful but she's supper smart. I'm gonna love having her. But, I can't believe she's grown up with out me. "how old was she?" 2, she had turned two that year. We had been married 3 years when we decided we wanted a kid, we had no idea what our future held" he didn't make eye contact the whole time he spoke "she didn't understand what happened, it was a week after that she finally realized you weren't coming back. She cried every night, whaling mommy. It tore me apart to see my baby girl like that"
It was tearing ME apart right now, knowing that I die and leave my husband and 2 year old daughter. I was on the verge of crying "h-how did she recognize me if she was so young then?" I asked, trying to keep the tears at bay. He slightly giggled at this question "our night night routine includes saying goodnight to a picture of you from highschool. It's the only one of just you we have" he didn't say anything else once we got to my old room. "You moved into my room?" Yeah, we decided to when we got married. But you just didn't want to lose your closet space" He teased with a small smirk on his face
Now there's the Jay I remember
