Lightning

 I ran to the door and pulled it open to find that it's raining, I wasn't too concerned about getting wet or missing them turn on the accelerator so I didn't run too fast,

I glanced at my watch which read 12:35 and the accelerator is supposed to be turned on at exactly 12:40 but like I said I wasn't too concerned about missing it.

I ran past the horde of reporters that were still trying to get in even though it's pouring rain, are reporters made out of steel? anyways I made my way to the bus and banged on the door for the driver to let me in.

He opened the door with a grumble, he's always been a grump, I found my seat but my phone wasn't there. I went on my knees look under the seat to find my phone in its f/c case

"ha! found you" I mumbled to myself as I picked up my phone. I turned on my phone to text aunt Cass but then it told me I had no cell service

"oh come on" I said to myself, I stuck my phone in my back pocket and headed to the door, the bus driver opened the door for me again, with a grumble, I thanked him then I glanced at my watch that read 12:45. It was still pouring rain I heard thunder, saw lightning.

I looked at the entrance to see just a few reporters were still standing there all of them with umbrellas.

I slowly walked in the rain my hair and clothes soaked and sticking to my body. I heard a boom but it wasn't thunder, the ground shook and glass broke, then I saw a beam of light go straight up from the center of S.T.A.R labs.

The reporters were running away basically trampling over me knocking me to the ground.

I looked around to see the rain was.... floating? indeed the rain was floating in little droplets of water all around me. Then a wave of something came from the lab and passed right through me and everyone else, it also caused a blackout.

I fell to my knees covering my head as lightbulbs were shattering above me and tiny pieces of glass falling to the ground. I was scared out of my mind what was going on? did the particle accelerator fail again? then I heard thunder and that brought back a memory from when I was little.

I was scared of the storm so my mom told me to wait for thunder then count to ten and then there would be lightning and it would always calm me down, and that's what I did.

I started counting my breath shaky and my words breathy "1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10.." I heard the crash of lighting and a painful sting then black. I heard muffled voices, people touching me. I heard a voice call out my name.

I opened my eyes. My vision was blurry. But I could make out a face looming over me "Ja..J..Jason" I squeaked my throat raw.

I could see tears rolling down his cheeks I closed my eyes. His sad face imprinted in my mind. Now I couldn't hear anything nor see or feel anything, just black.

third pov...

everyone that was in S.T.A.R labs was hurriedly making their way out. People pushing each other out of the way.

When they got outside in the pouring rain Jason noticed people around a lifeless body.

But then he saw the h/l h/c locks on the girls head sprawled on the concrete he immediately knew it was his girlfriend.

His eyes got wide in fear and ran to her side falling to his knees mumbling no repeatedly under his breath. y/n opened her eyes for a split second and mumbled under her breath "Ja..J...Jason"

Then her eyes closed and didn't open again. Jason said nothing, his tears falling down his face. He pulled her close his face in her hair.

Tim watched as his adoptive brother held y/n in his arms. He heard him yell and wave his free arm for the people to get back.

Tim took the initiative and ran back inside the lab he used his Redrobin skills to sneak past any and all security into the main area. There were alarms blaring, smoke, and scientists scrambling around the room.

Tim called out when he saw a certain redhead "Barry!". Barry turned around to find a winded Tim behind him "Tim? what are you doing here? you need to leave" Barry yelled over all the noises

"No, my friend sh..she's hurt, I..I don't know what happened. Jason just found her lifeless on the ground outside the lab" Tim huffed.

Barry nodded and called for Caitlin Snow "where is she?" right outside the main entrance" Tim replied.

Then without another word, Barry picked up Caitlin and zoomed off with his super speed.

When he got there he found Jason still holding y/n's lifeless body rocking back and forth, Dick was shooing people.

Caitlin went and got in front of Jason on her knees "Jason? it's me, Caitlin Snow, Barry's friend, I'm a doctor I can help her you just have to put her down" she said in a friendly voice.

Jason hesitated then he felt a hand on his shoulder he looked up to find Barry " it's ok" he said nodding.

Jason slowly put y/n down but not letting go of her hand, the first thing Caitlin did was check for a pulse "she's alive..but barely" she said.

Barry took out his phone and called Cisco

" Cisco you there?"

" yeah what's up?"

" is the lab cleaned up?"

"almost"

"well I need you to get a medical cot ready, we're gonna have a guest".

With that, he hung up and picked y/n up bridal style Jason tried to protest and tell him that he needed to carry her but Barry already zoomed off

"stupid super speed" Jason grumbled under his breath as he followed Caitlin to where Barry took y/n.

When they got there y/n was already on a cot getting x-rays, Caitlin went and took a blood sample.

Jason pulled up a chair and sat next to y/n and held her hand and kissed it "you need to come back, ok? you...you have to" Jason mumbled to himself.
