Jay's Girl (Jason Todd/ Redhood x Batfamily x reader) [COMPLETED]

I've been working with Barry to get my speed back up. Apparently, when I used my speed to get here I lost some speed in the process. Meaning, I'm too slow to get back home at the moment. I've been in the future for a couple of days now, Robin still calls me mom and loves it when I go running with her. But have a feeling Jason is getting attached, he spends every spare minute with me. I mean, I don't blame him but I fear it'll leave him more broken when I leave than when I died in this time. And I don't want that. That's why I'm trying to keep my distance now, trying to keep my head in the game and away from distractions.

I was currently running on the speedster treadmill that Barry had brought over from S.T.A.R labs, I can't run on a regular one or my speed would break it. "hey babe" I faltered a little when Jason said that, but my speedster reflexes caught me. "have you seen Robin? I can't find her upstairs"  she over there" I said, pointing to Robin who was on the floor a few feet away from me coloring. That's another thing, Robin is also getting attached, she hates leaving my side. "ah, there you are my little bird" he chirped, scooping her up in his arms

"ahhhh, daddyyy! I was in the middle of coloring mommy!" she exclaimed as she wriggled out his arms and went back to coloring. "fine, I guess you don't want any of grandpa Alfie's cookies then" I heard Jason tease "chocolate chip?" yep, your favorite" Jason answered. Then in an instant, she was gone. I assume she went to claim those cookies before someone else did. I slightly snickered  as I slowed my pace "you really know your way to a girl's heart" it must be my gift" he smirked "anyway, have you gotten any faster?" a little, but not enough to get home" I sighed, wiping some sweat off my forehead, which is weird because I don't normally sweat when I run

"I just need to get to mach 3 and that should be enough to get me home, at least that's what Barry and Cisco say," I said before pulling on a sweatshirt "how fast are you now?" barely half of mach 3" that's good" Jason said walking over to me and pulling me into a hug. Good? how is that good? it's taken me three days just to get that much of my speed back, I'll be here a week or more if it keeps up like this. "no Jason, it's not good" I said, pulling away from him "it's taken me this long to get that much of my speed back, and what if it takes more than mach 3 to get me home? how long will I be here and how long are my Jay and my team going to be looking for me? and on top of that, if I'm here any longer you and Robin both will get too attached, and by the time I finally leave, I fear I'll leave you guys more broken then when I died in this time"

"That's not gonna happen, I've already come to terms with your death and Robin was too little to remember you enough to get attached now" Jason reassured "but-" I promise, I'm not getting attached" promise?" I asked with a cocked eyebrow "promise" he nodded with a smile. I relaxed slightly and let him hug me "now, how about some of those cookies?" I don't know...Robin probably got them all already" I sighed playfully "but if there are any left I get them all!" With that I zoomed upstairs before Jason could do anything

~1 week later~

It's been over a week now, and I'm not much faster. I can barely got mach 3, and we've figured out that it needs to be over mach 3. Yesterday I was able to make a while in time appear but I wasn't fast enough to make it through. And in the process, I broke my arm. Setting me back a day or so. Right now I'm in a cast for the time being. Caitlin hasn't changed, she won't let me leave my bed at the medical bay in S.T.A.R labs till my arm is fully healed. I'm out of my bed right now, but what Caitlin doesn't know won't kill her

I needed to stretch my legs, so I decided to take a walk around the lab. When I got to the speed lab, someone was running in the tubes. I would've just thought it was Barry, but the lightning trail was yellow AND purple, so j have no idea who this speedster is. I know I shouldn't be running, but I need a run I'm dying of slowness. So, I started running into the tubes and caught up with the speedster. I realized it was a girl speedster, finally another girl. She looked about 15 or 16, she had short brown hair, and light tan skin. "hi" I blurted, intreaged to meet this speedster "I'm-" aunt y/n!?!" She exclaimed before she tumbled forward, mumbling "oo"s and "ow"s as she went down

I stopped at her side and put my hand out "I'm so sorry" I apologized "I didn't mean to distract you" aunt y/n? Is that really you?" She asked, rubbing her head. "my name is y/n, but I don't think I'm your aunt" I said, confusedly "but can I ask, who are you?"

"Nora, Nora West-Allen"
