Naruto showed up, a little while after us, all that was left was for Kakashi Sensei to show up. I sat on a rock, rubbing my ankle gently. Sakura watched me suspiciously.

‘Oh, hey Kasumi-chan!’ Naruto grinned, I waved at him.

‘Are you sure you should be here in that condition?’ she asked. I narrowed my eyes at her.

‘I’m fine, I’m going to get it looked at later,’ I huffed. Sakura nodded.

We waited for hours, it had been dark but now the birds were awake and the sun was rising higher up into the sky.

Naruto was still half asleep on the floor. I was sitting next to him and Sasuke and Sakura were standing.

‘Aww come on, is this guy for real?!’ I growled. Sakura sighed and sat down next to me. It was now two hours from lunch time and there was still no sign of Kakashi Sensei, when...

‘Morning everyone, ready for your first day?’ We all jumped up and glared at him, even Naruto woke up.

‘HEY, YOU’RE LATE!’ Sakura, Naruto and I yelled.

‘...Well a black cat crossed my path, so I had to take the long way,’ Kakashi lied. I gave him a death glare. Man, that was a really pathetic excuse.

‘Yeah, sure Sensei,’ I muttered under my breath.

‘Hmm? Well’ Kakashi cleared his throat.

‘Let’s get started,’ he said walking to the left. We followed him and watched as he placed a timer set for noon.

‘Here we go, it’s set for noon, your assignment is very simple. You just have to take these bells from me. That’s all there is to it,’ Kakashi said pulling out some bells. He jingled them around a bit.

‘If you can’t get them by noon, you go without lunch,’ Kakashi continued.

‘Whaaa-,’ Naruto and I yelled.

‘You’ll be tied to those posts, and you’ll watch while I eat my lunch in front of you,’

We all sweat dropped and anime cried.

‘So that’s why you made us to skip breakfast,’ I groaned. Kakashi nodded.

‘Hai,’

‘Wait a minute! There’s four of us, how come there’s only two bells?’ Sakura asked.

‘Well that way, at least one of you will end up tied to a post and ultimately disqualified for failing to complete the mission!’ Kakashi gave us a closed eye smile. Sakura glanced at me.

‘He’s evil,’ she whispered to me. I nodded.

‘I know,’ I whispered back.

‘That one goes back to the Academy; then again, all four of you can flunk out too. You can use any weapons including shiruken. If you’re not prepared to kill me, you won’t be able to take the bells,’ Kakashi said flicking the bells up and grabbing them.

‘No way! Those weapons are too dangerous Sensei!’ Sakura cried worriedly. Naruto started laughing again.

‘Especially since you couldn’t even dodge that booby trap I set,’ he laughed.

‘Class Clowns are usually the weakest links, you can safely ignore them. Lowest scores, losers,’ Kakashi sighed. I clenched my fists, that was a bit unfair, he was our Sensei, that meant he should be encouraging us and not putting us down!

‘Don’t call him that,’ I spoke up. Kakashi Sensei raised his eyebrow at me.

‘Hmmmnn. When I say start, you can begin,’ Kakashi said. Naruto was fuming and had steam coming out of his ears. He drew his kunai and charged Kakashi Sensei.
