"Dylan ... Okay. Um ... You ... You live here, right? So for sure there will be someone else! Where are we? How can I go home? I absolutely have to go home! My father will worry  to death if I don't come back! Can you help me? "  Yue asked, looking at him with her big eyes full of hope and anguish.
The boy watched her for a few seconds, then sighed and took her hand.
"Hey! Where you take me?! Answer me!"
Dylan continued to drag her until they came to a large hut made of wood and leaves.
He led Yue inside.
She looked around.  The space was furnished only by a table and a bed, both made of the same material as the hut.
"Is this your home?"  she asked him.
He nodded and waved her to sit at the table, facing him.
She obeyed him, a little hesitant.
"Water?"  he asked her.
Yue shook her head.
"Mmh ... Nobody's here. Just me. This is my home. And ... I have no idea how to help you to come back home," he said, looking her closely in the eyes.
"You're joking. Tell me you're joking. How long have you lived here? Why ?!"
"I don't know. I arrived here when I was a child, but I don't remember how. I don't remember anything about my previous life and ... I don't know how old I am. It's difficult to calculate the time, here ..." he replied.
"No. No, no, no. Are you telling me that since you are here no one has tried to find you ?!"
"Maybe they tried, I don't know. Of course, if they did, they didn't manage."
Yue jumped up and ran out of the hut.
Panicked, she started running on the hot sand and screaming.
"HELP! HELP! I'M HERE! HELP!"
Dylan's heart sank.  He knew what that girl was feeling.
But ... He was alone when he arrived there.
But she ... She had him.
He strode over and grabbed her by the arms, forcing her to stop.
"Don't touch me!"  she screamed.
"Stay calm! If you lose control, you won't solve anything!"  he replied, barely shaking her.
Slowly, Yue's breathing returned to regular.
Dylan let her go.
"What's your name?"
"Yue".
"Well, Yue. Don't worry, I'm sure your father will find a way to find. Now come with me, you need to get some rest."
"I don't want to! I have to go home! I ..."
The girl could not finish the sentence.  She fell to the ground, unconscious.

Four hours later ...

Yue opened her eyes and looked around, confused. Her ankle was bandaged.
So it wasn't a dream ...
Her plane had really crashed.
The image of the two pilots came back to her and a feeling of nausea forced her to get out of bed.
She left the hut ... It was evening now.
"At this time I should be at the party, dancing with the guy I like. Not on this damn island!"  she muttered, kicking the sand.
A sense of anger and despair seized her.
"Yue! You're awake!"
She turned to the voice that called her.
That boy ... What was his name?  Ah, yes!  Dylan.
She wouldn't have made his end, right?  She wouldn't live her life on that island like him, right?
"I caught some fish for dinner," he said, satisfied.
"I hate fish"
"Oh ... Unfortunately I found only this ... Now it's too late to go hunting".
"I do not care".
Dylan sighed, exasperated.
"Ok, if you want I can break a coconut ..." he tried.
"I don't want anything. I want to go away from here! Leave me alone! I don't even know who you are! Maybe you're a criminal!"
At those words, Dylan shook his head and turned his back on her.
"Do it yourself then! Good luck! Oh, watch out for wolves!"  he said, entering the hut with the fish.
Yue gasped.
After kicking the sand again, she started looking around to better understand the situation.
After all that had happened, her stomach was completely closed and she had no desire to eat.  What worried her was where she would sleep.
"I will build myself a small shelter. In fact, I can also sleep out here under the stars. I just have to try to light a fire to keep the wolves away," she told herself.
She approached the clearing and looked for some sticks, being careful not to go too far.  It was dark by now and there could be wild animals ready to attack.
Once she found the sticks, she returned to the beach and started rubbing them against each other.
She had seen do it a lot of times, on TV.  It didn't have to be that hard!

One hour later...

"Damn!"  Yue shouted, throwing away the sticks.
She raised her head to see the stars, while a chill ran through her body.
She began to believe that maybe it wasn't a good idea to sleep out there, especially after hearing a wolf howling from the clearing.
After a long sigh, she decided.
Knock Knock!
Dylan rolled his eyes.  He was just wondering how long that fool would want to stay outside.
"What's up?"  he asked, opening the little door of the hut.
"I'm cold," Yue mumbled.
"So?"
"So ... Can I come in?"
"I could be a criminal."
"I'm ready to take risks."
Dylan shook his head and let her enter.
He offered her a few pieces of coconut and she accepted them, keeping her eyes down.
"You can sleep on the floor tonight. I made you a carpet of leaves, you'll be comfortable enough," he told her.
"On the floor?"
"Don't think  that I'll give up my bed, built with difficulty, for you," he grinned incredulously.
Yue snorted and nodded.
"I really hope Daddy's looking for me ... And that he will find me in a hurry," she thought.
After eating, Dylan went to lie down on his bed.
"Are you going to sleep so early?"  Yue asked him.
"I have to get up early in the morning if I want to find something to eat. I suggest you do the same. And then we have to build a hut all for you tomorrow."
"A hut ?! I don't want to stay here forever!"
"I didn't want it too"  Dylan turned and closed his eyes.
Suddenly Yue felt guilty about what she just said ...
What a situation!
Without another word, she lay down on her carpet of leaves, ready to face perhaps the longest night of her life.
