Hidden in the closet in Wang Yu Zheng's family home, Shen Yue was enjoying her new jar of Nutella.
With each teaspoon of cream, her eyes closed and her lips curled into a blissful smile.
Suddenly a moan of pleasure escaped her and it was at that moment that the closet door swung open, revealing an indignant Wang He Di.
"I knew it! I knew you were hidden here! Give me that Nutella right away!"  he exclaimed, angry.
Yue squeezed the jar to herself, as if to protect it from the whole world.
"No! It's mine!"
"Shen Yue! I already told you that too many sweets are bad for our children! You have to eat healthy food! If you continue like this, they will be born with diabetes!"
"God, how exaggerated you are!"  she retorted.
Wang He Di studied her sulky expression and he rolled his eyes.
They had moved to Yu Zheng's house for two weeks and that girl was already driving him crazy.
Her craving for sweets was uncontainable!
And then she never let herself be helped!
She looked like a broken disk... "I can do it by myself" here, "I can do it by myself" over there ...
It was maddening!
Whenever she was sick, she let herself be helped only by her friend Yu Zheng.
If she had any strange food desire, Yu Zheng was always the one who provided to feed her.
If she had an emotional breakdown, Yu Zheng was the only one with whom she let out her tears.
He was starting to feel really useless.
Mainly because his best friend Hu Lian Xin also seemed to appreciate Yu Zheng's support.
That boy was a kind of savior of pregnant women!
Suddenly he saw Yue put a hand to her mouth.  Her face was very pale.
"Hey, what's going on?"  he asked worriedly.
She didn't answer, but she gave him the cream jar and she ran to the bathroom.
Dylan followed her closely.
Yue was kneeling in front of the toilet.
"Hey ..." sighed the boy, kneeling beside her.
"What a nausea," muttered Yue, keeping her eyes closed.
Wang He Di wanted to scold her for eating almost a whole jar of Nutella, but seeing her face so suffering he decided to let it go and kept his mouth shut.
There were only the two of them at home at the time, so he had to be the "savior of pregnant women".
Hesitantly, he tried to reach out to her back and gently caress her.
Yue didn't react, she was too busy taking deep breaths.
"It's okay," he whispered.
"I feel I have to puke, but I can't. What torture!"  she complained.
With difficulty she turned and she sat up, leaning her back against the toilet and thus interrupting Wang He Di's massage.
"Xin Xin says hot tea helps her fight the feeling of nausea sometimes. Let's go," he said, holding out a hand.
"Where?"
"I'll make you some tea."
Shen Yue looked him over for a few moments ... She hated being seen in that state by him.  By a man.  A man like everyone else.
"Are you seriously considering getting up alone and not letting me help you?"  he asked, as if he had read her  thoughts.
"I can do it," she replied.
Dylan shook his head disapprovingly, but he let her do it.
Yue got up slowly, gritting her teeth.
As soon as she was on her feet, the nausea returned and her head began to whirl.
Dylan noticed it and he immediately surrounded her waist with one arm to support her.
"So stubborn ..." he snorted.
He took her hands and forced her to tie them behind his neck, then he slowly lifted her up and took her in his arm in a bride-style .
Yue blushed.
"Put me down!"
Dylan didn't listen to her and he went to her room.  He laid her on the bed and placed some pillows behind her back.
"Now wait here and don't move," he said.
She started to protest, but his stern gaze pushed her to remain silent and listen to him.
After about ten minutes, Wang He Di returned to her with a cup of hot tea.
"Here. Drink slowly."
"Thanks," muttered Yue, without looking at him.
Dylan sat at the foot of the bed and he watched her  as she sipped her tea.
He had many questions on his mind.
He wondered what drove that little tornado to hate the male gender so much.
He wondered what could have happened to her so badly that it made her decide to raise a child on her own.
He wondered what she was hiding under that layer of arrogance and cheekiness.
Would she have been an affectionate mother?
He was about to ask the first question when he saw her close her eyes and smile.
He had noticed that she often did it when she tasted something good.
He was sure this was a really complicated girl ... But at times like that, he found himself thinking that Shen Yue was also simplicity ... And he was surprised.
"What's your favourite colour?"  he asked.
Her eyes widened, confused by that strange question.
"Excuse me?"
"We still have many months ahead of us before the babies are born ... I think it's good to know each other ... Right?"
"But..."
"So let's start with the most important things: what is your favorite color?"  he insisted.
Yue watched him to see if he was making fun of her, but his gaze was serious and he seemed even interested.
That boy was weird.
But she wasn't surprised ... All men were weird.
And then she couldn't stand the fact that he wanted to be with her at all costs.
She didn't need him.
"Shen Yue ... He just made you a very good tea to make you feel better. And remember he is doing it for the children," sang a voice in her head.
She snorted and thought about his question.
"Yellow," she replied.
"A primary color ... so banal," grinned Dylan.
"Hey! Let's hear yours!"  Yue retorted.
"Purple".
"Tsk! In some cultures it is a symbol of mourning, you know?"
"Shen Yue!"
"Sorry, just saying," laughed Yue.
It was the first time he had seen her laugh ... Well, seen her laugh with him.
He found himself smiling.
"Ok, let's go on. Your lucky number?"  he asked.
"What? I don't have a lucky number!"  Yue exclaimed, as if she had only at that moment realized this serious deficiency.
"Really ?! You have to fix it!"  answered Dylan, also agitated.
"And how can I do it ?! How can I find a lucky number ?!"
Her worried eyes made him melt.
"I have no idea. I don't have it too," he said simply.
Two seconds of silence ... And then another laugh.  This time he laughed with her.
"You are an idiot, you know?"  laughed Yue.
That moment was so strange ...
"Well, let's say our lucky number will be two," she added.
"Two?"  Dylan asked, frowning.
"The twins ... They are two ... I think they will bring us a lot of happiness and luck" explained the girl dreamily.
Dylan nodded and took the empty cup from her hands.
"You're right. Now lie down and get some rest, okay?"
"No, first I have to ..."
"Shen Yue! I said to rest!"
"I have to pee, you idiot! And stop telling me what to do!"
"Oh, sorry ... Er ... I'll walk you," said Dylan.
There was no need for Yue to say anything, her gaze already said everything ...
"Ok, ok, do it yourself, I understand!"  Wang He Di exclaimed, raising his hands in surrender.
He left the room and left her alone.
He heard voices in the lobby and he went to look.
Hu Lian Xi was taking off her jacket, followed by Wang Yu Zheng.  The boy had six bags in his hand.
"Hey! Have you been shopping?"  asked Wang He Di.
"Your friend is ... She is ... Mercilessly! We went to thirty-five stores! Thirty-five stores in one day!"  Yu Zheng complained.
"Thirty-five shops and you only have six bags in your hand, you should thank me! And then stop complaining. It was you who said you wanted to take care of me ... I didn't ask you anything," said Lian Xi, shrugging her shoulders.
The boy was gaping, not knowing what to answer.
She took off her shoes and pointed a finger at him.
"Tomorrow we will also go to the hairdresser," she said threateningly.
"What?!"
"If you don't want to accompany me, I will go alone."
"Okay, okay!"
Lian Xi took the bags from his hands and ran to the room.
Wang Yu Zheng went into the living room and dropped on the sofa, exhausted.
Dylan grinned.
He took two beers from the refrigerator and handed one to him.
"You're lucky. At least Xinxin accepts your help," he commented, sitting down next to him.
"Mmh ... Yueyue is not what she looks like," replied Yu Zheng, sipping his beer.
"I really hope so! That girl looks like a cactus! I'm always afraid that she will bite me, I don't know!"  exclaimed Dylan.
The other boy shook his head and laughed.
"Trust me, she's actually quite the opposite."
"So why is she acting like this?"
"She just suffered a lot. She is hurt inside."
"What happened to her?"
"I can't tell you. It wouldn't be fair. But ... Please don't give up on her, okay? You will get to know her and you will say that I was right," Yu Zheng smiled at him.
"Well ... Xinxin isn't as tough as she looks, too. So ... don't give up too," Dylan replied.

While the four guys were preparing dinner, Dylan's eye was captured by Shen Yue and Wang Yu Zheng.
The girl was hugging him from behind while he was explaining what he was cooking.  Suddenly Yu Zheng turned to her and her eyes lit up with joy when the boy made her taste something.
"You're the best," she smiled radiantly.
He was annoyed.
And the fact that he felt annoyed annoyed him even more.
"What's up? Are you already falling in love with the other mommy?"  Xinxin whispered to him with a grin.
"Don't say nonsense! It's just that ... Look at her! She looks at Yu Zheng as if he were the only man worthy of admiration on earth! She is convinced that all the others men are bad monsters ... And honestly it bothers me to be judged"  he explained.
Lian Xin studied his face carefully.
"You know ... A while ago, Yue told me that ... You were kind to her this afternoon."
Dylan's eyes widened.
"Did she say that, seriously ?!"
"Shhh! Yes, she said it."
"All right?"  Yu Zheng asked them.
"All very right! Come on, let's go eat! Shen Yue! Stop! I'll bring the dishes!"  Wang He Di exclaimed happily.
"What's wrong with him?"  Yue asked to Xin Xin.
"Nothing! I'm just kind," Dylan replied in her place, hopping towards the dining room.
Yue glared at Lian Xin.
"You told him!"  she accused her.
"I don't know what you're talking about," laughed the other girl, following her best friend.
