Midoriya got up hastily sending Toga's head running to the floor.
"Owie~!" She leaned up instantly and rubbed her head.
"Izuku?" She opened her eyes slowly shocked by the pain jutting her head. Midoriya was attempting to open the door pushed the handle up and down in a panicked way. He pushed hard on the door slamming it until his adrenaline gave out and he grumbled to the floor. Tears overwhelmed his eyes and his figure crawled into a bawl on the floor. He spread his legs slightly to the right side of him and slowly let go of the handle. Toga crawled over to him and clutched his head in her lap, rubbing his tears from his cheeks. His eyes red and puffed his eyes diminished into lines. She kissed his forehead and lifted him to a chair in the room. She brought a chair and sat in front of him letting his legs spread onto her lap.
"Grrrr!" Toga grunted. She was trying to sleep but Shigaraki kept creeping into her mind. She rubbed her eyes. She looked over to Midoriya and kissed his forehead once again causing his stressed facial expression to soften. Her eyes wandered over to Todoroki's hospital bed. There was no sign of him. Toga's heart began to race in panic.
_'Why now~!!!'_ She whined to herself. She carefully got up from the chair and rested Midoriya's feet on the empty seat. She stealthfully opened the door and crept to the hallway. Her face darted from side to side trying to detect any sign of where he could have gone. She ran over to the front desk.
"Hi, sorry to be a bother but, I'm looking for a tall male, red and white hair. Handsome." The lady only looked at her, face drooping and quite rude. She only pointed in the direction of the rooftop. Toga nodded her head and gave a thankful smile.
_'What kind of hospital let's their patients go to the roof at 3 in the morning?'_ Toga looked around the rooftop going over to the edge and looking down at the buildings. She turned her head to the side hoping that Todoroki would be standing there, he wasn't. Her heart dropped as tears filled her cheeks. She cupped her face and leaned on the railing. _'Shiggy... now you...'_ Toga cried into the sleeves of Midoriya's hoodie and pulled the hood over her head trying to pull herself together.
"Toga...?" A monotone voice spoke. She quickly turned around but no one was there. She slapped her cheek hard leaving a slightly red mark.
"Down here." The same voice said again with a little more worry this time. Toga looked down at the roads once again and looked to the side, there he was, sitting on a small ledge looking at the buildings and the few cars that passed every once and a while.
"T- Todoroki!?!?" She walked over to the other side of the building and jumped down to Todoroki, he caught her and lifted her down slowly. She sat next to him on the space he left for her.
"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly wiping a tear from her eye. Her face was red and she was shivering slightly. Todoroki took off his jacket and handed it to her. She pushed it away but he insisted.
"What are you doing here?" She asked wrapping the jacket around herself immediately getting slightly warmer.
"What does it look like?" He chuckled into his hand.
"Kind of like an escape..." She sighed. They both sat in a comfortable silence leaning over looking at lights of apartments turning on as cars began heading to work.
"Imagine leaving at 3 in the morning to go to work." Todoroki laughed a little. He lit his left hand up getting cold also. They stayed there for another hour or two just watching and talking about random stuff until the sun began to appear behind the trees.
"We should probably head back, Izuku doesn't know where we are. We dont want him to be in a frenzy when he wakes up!" They both laugh and Todoroki let's Toga use him as a stool so she could get up and Todoroki followed after her. They both walked back to the hallway giving a little wave to the lady at the front desk. They made their way back down the happy to room 203. When they entered Midoriya was still sleeping and snoring a little. Todoroki and Toga continued to talk for a few more hours until around 10.
"Arggg..." Midoriya grunted rubbing his eyes and wiping the drool by his mouth. He raised his arm to the window which showered him in bright sunlight. Todoroki got off the bed and closed the blinds.
"Better?" He asked. Midoriya only nodded. Todoroki walked over to Midoriya and planted a soft morning kiss onto his lips. Toga only stared in awe at the two boys.
"Morning, Izu~!" Toga smiled brightly. Midoriya smiled back and looked at his boyfriend and his best friend getting along. As he tried to rethink of what happened that night he groaned in pain. His eyes began to water again. Todoroki and Toga walked up to him each on either side.
"Were here for you." They said in unison bringing a smile to his face. Todoroki pulled up a chair and the three friends talked until a doctor came in and cleared Todoroki. They left immediately grabbing any lose items and headed back to the base. Once they had reached a surprise was waiting.
