I didn't have to explain myself nor did I want to. we parked near an exit and headed our way to town. Cars are broken into  while some have remaining decaying bodies. Children in the back that are just bone. A walker tries to snap at me as I get distracted until Rick stabs in it the head. "Are you okay?"

We reach a store that has its similarities to Walmart.

Rick places a hand on my shoulder for me to stay back. He pulls out my gun from his back, right pocket and hands it to me. I learned that Rick is the wrong guy you want to piss off.

I take it gently and smile. He looks at me for a bit then leads me in as i follow him to an asile. Walkers stand on the other side.  They haven't hear us, yet.

He whispers in my ear that send shivers down my spine at the wrong time. "Ill go on one side of the asile and you go on the other. Ill grab them from behind." I freeze. Im a decoy. I place a hand on his shoulder and walk to the other side quietly.

They see my presence but not Rick's. He goes behind one, slicing its head off. Then moves onto the next two.  He didn't need my help. He's learned to accommodate things by himself.

Gathering supplies become our next task; Women's clothes, mens, hygiene products, food which are the basics of living.

"Ready to get going? We have about an hour of sunlight. " i was about to say yes until avoice started to pour from the front. In quick action, Rick slides his arm over my waist and pulls me down between aisles. We point our guns out and ready.

The bell rings from the door. "Ay man. Check everywhere and make sure we dont have them things crawling up our asses." We move steady as their foot steps try to discover us.

My heart beats like a bunny. Rick, who takes notice, moves us to a different aisle. "Do you trust me?" He whispers.

"Yes." I respond quickly. He took me in and trusted me. I should do the same. He releases his arm from my waist and stands up with his gun hidden behind his back.
What the hell is wrong with you?

"Sorry fellas. I guess you're just out of luck." He still has his hands up.

"Who are you?" Both men ask in union.

"Rick Grimes." He says with harshness in his voice.

"Listen Rick, we don't want any trouble. Just hand over your weapons and supplies and we'll let you go."

He chuckles. "I don't think that's an option here." Rick has something going on.

"You're real funny. One man against two." Both pull up pistols, aiming at Rick.

"Im not going to ask you again. Remove your weapons, surrender your supplies and no one gets hurt."

Silence fills the store.

"The only one who's getting hurt are you and your friend." He reaches his back, pulls out his gun and shoots one guy in the head. The other guy struggles to get Rick but i pull my gun on him from a distance. Without hesitation, i pull the trigger. The bullet goes flying into his skull.

"Rick..." I go to hug him but i stop myself.

"They had a gun pointed at you what were you thinking?" I ask worridly.

"A gun with no bullets...Their chambers were open." He looks at me. "Thank you." I shake my head. "I should be thanking you for taking me in. Now lets get out of here before walkers start piling up the windows." I leave one last smirk to him.
