I walked out of my bedroom and heard sobs from Dee and Sel's room.. I was feeling horrible right now..

I knocked twice and got inside.. Dee was in a ball on the bed hugging a pillow

- We're going to open the presents now.. - I quietly said - you should come..

I sat on the bed looking at her as she continued to sob and cry

- I'm sorry for what I've said..

There was a big silence being the sound of her sniffs, the only sound in the room

- Why do I always get hurt? - she whispered when I turned my head to her

- I just give everything.. I'm nice to people.. I try make them happy.. but in the end.. I am always the one hurting..

I looked down - I'm sorry..

- Please go spend christmas with your family.. I'll be okay.. - she said with her voice cracking

- But-

She interrupted me - I have no family.. cherish every single minute you spend with yours

I looked down and stood up going to the other side where she could see my face - I'm not going downstairs without you..

- If you're dumb, you'll stay here.. - she said sitting up - Please Nicholas.. don't ruin christmas for your family.. just.. go and have fun..

I sighed and rubbed her arm - Please at least open one present.. you're Selena's family..

I covered my face in the pillow and felt his soft plump lips in my forehead

The footsteps got away and the door closed leaving me staring blankly at the wall while my tears dried

I was a little sad because Dee didn't want to come.. I had a present for her and it was very special.. We opened everything.. none of the gifts I had cheered me up..

I looked down at the small box and contained my tears.. it wasn't just for this.. I know Dee since we're in diapers.. she had been my sister since forever and she has been suffering so much..

- Sel.. I-I didn't mean to hurt her.. - Nicholas stuttered

I looked up at him - You didn't mean to hurt her?! Didn't you thought that saying that she is doing that to herself for nothing was going to hurt?

He looked down and then Joseph walked up to us

- Listen.. I don't know what's happening but you should stop killing him.. we know he regrets it and he can't do shit about it now! So please just calm down and try to make peace

I shook my head - I'm going to give Demi the only gift she is getting..

I walked away mad and went upstairs. Knocking twice, I saw Dee in the exact same position as last time

- Dee.. I got you a gift and.. I wanted for you to open it.. - I smiled cleaning my own tears

She sat up and looked at me - Are you crying?! - I nodded - Come here.. you shouldn't be crying - she said while I sat on the bed into her embrace

- It just.. It hurts so much that you're crying for your entire life.. it's not just a small little thing... It's about your entire life and it kills me that I can't do anything..
