I laid down on the bed and grabbed Sel's phone.. wait..
- Where's your phone?
She smiled on the nightstand.. It's an iPhone
I smiled really big and picked it up.. downloading "chat me" I grew nervous as to what to expect from Nick
I typed ddlovato and tapped on the same usual "music room"
"Nick?"
I waited and waited until the "nickjj is typing" sign apeared
"Long time no talk huh? I've missed you.."
I looked down suddenly feeling sad.. I just felt..
"yeah.. got a problem with my phone.. I'm so sorry.. what are you up to? Got news?"
Selena came out of the bathroom with a smile on her face.. she was breathtaking.. incredibly beautiful as she always is in a prom - How do I look?
- Perfect..
She sat next to me and peeked through her phone - Are you back to the chat?
I took a deep breath and contained my tears - Just.. one last time..
"Getting ready for prom.."
- I figured it out.. - I sighed just while Sel read it
- Ask him with who..
I typed on the phone and waited for his reply
"No one.. I didn't had the courage to ask the girl I wanted.."
"Aww.. sorry.. well.. I gotta go.. have fun and dance! I love you!"
I laid down the phone and got up towards the closet.. Sel and I started talking about how I should tell Nick that I was Demi, but I was 100% sure I shouldn't
- Why are you dressing like that?!
I chuckled - I'm not going to the prom.. I'm going to the talent show to perform and then leave..
- Come on Demi!! Here.. let me help you..

I came downstairs and took a deep breath.. Grabbing the guitar, I turned around seeing Joe come closer
- So who's the lucky lady? - he smirked
- Mrs AirandWind.. great name huh?
- You're going alone?
- Didn't have courage to..
I stopped talking as soon as my eyes landed on Dee who was coming downstairs.. She took my breath away instantly.. she had a beautiful blue dress and for once, she looked like a feminine girl. almost like Selena but a million times more perfect..
She smiled slightly at us and Selena came from behind also looking really pretty but somehow, my eyes were stuck on Dee..
- Hey.. - I said smiling at her once Joe and Sel went in front of us
- Nervous? - she giggled
I was nervous.. Just not from the talent show.. or the prom..
- Really nervous!
She giggled and my heart stopped. I couldn't wipe off the proud smile I had on my face - You?
- Ten times worse than you..
I laughed and opened the door for her to go inside.. Joe started driving and we reached the school. I walked around through the giant gym seeing girls hovering over boys and some even flirting with me. From the corner of my eye, the now blond beauty caught me.. she was alone in a bench so I walked towards her
- Hey Dee.. why are you standing here all by yourself?
- I didn't came to the prom.. I came to the talent show so I'm waiting
- Why didn't you came to the prom?
- Nobody asked me..

I saw him laugh cutely.. he was kinda hot in his smoking.. his curly hair everywhere..
- Why are you laughing? yey.. I am ridiculous
- You're not ridiculous.. you're adorable.. - he chuckled
I hid my face and he hugged me. The lady speaked through the microphone and the talent show begun
Starting by the "A" we soon reached "D"..

Everyone gone silence just when we got upstage.. everyone was slightly shocked and I couldn't blame them.. the freak.. on a stage.. wtf right?!
I turned around but Nick grabbed my arm and started singing
- "Words like a loaded gun.. Shout out from a fire tongue.. love lost from a fight that was won.." - He looked at me and continued - "I can see you breaking down.. the end to a falling down.."
He continued singing and I casually harmonized. My part came and we sang it together.. he started playing the guitar by the middle of the song and just when we stopped, everyone stayed silent..
I felt so embarrassed but before I could turn around, a clap sound echoed through the gym.. Nicholas was applauding me and the time stopped. It was just me and him on the stage.. he was applauding to my performance..
One by one, people started clapping their hands and I smiled. Finally somebody..
Nick turned around after our bow but I couldn't end it like this.. Something said that I had to tell him right now..
I got closer to the microphone and sang
- "Take my hand tonight.. we could run so fast.. we could change the world, into anything we want.." - I said watching him turn around we a shocked expression.. I continued and he started mumbling the words along with me - " We could stop for hours, just staring at the stars.."
He got closer and strummed the guitar.. finally..
-"You know when the sun forgets to shine.. I'll be there to hold you through the night.. we'll be running so fast we can fly tonight.. and even when we're miles and miles apart, you're still holding all if my heart.. I promise it will never be dark.. I know.."
- "We're Insaparable.." - he finished
I smiled and looked down when everyone started clapping.. it wasn't the full song but it was the amount I needed to tell him I was Demi.. This song was made for Demi.. I was Demi..
We were the only ones who knew it.. and that was the solution to all my problems.. one single song..
We came downstage and immediately got separated from each other.. girls were attacking him..
Perfect time to leave..
I looked towards him and he looked back.. it was clear that he wanted to talk to me..
Even knowing it.. I walked towards the exit..

I walked through the parking lot but the high heels were killing me so I stopped and took them off

- Demi!!

I stopped with my shoes in my hand and turned around to see him staring at me.. him..

- Hey..

- You're Demi.. - he smiled running - I finally found you..

I smiled and he stopped

- Well.. apparently I wasn't what you expected..

He laughed hard - What the hell? I'm in shock!! How can you even say that?!

- Well.. you don't love me as much as you love "Demi"

He chuckled - You are Demi..

- But not the Demi you expected me to be..

He chuckled - You are! I just.. I couldn't admit I love you..

I shook my head - No Nick.. you're just saying that because tonight I look like Selena..

- No.. - he said grabbing me by the waist - I'm saying because I mean it.. I wanted to ask you to prom..

- Why didn't you then?

- One.. I was hell of nervous.. two.. We were interrupted everytime I tried yesterday..

I looked up - Are you joking me? Please tell me you're not joking..

- I am not..

- So you love me?

He smiled - Lets see if I do..

He slowly leaned down and kissed me just when I let go of my shoes and grabbed his face. He pulled me up and I smiled through the kiss feeling every single tip of love he had.. the love I felt before through the phone, I could feel it now..

I felt so relieved..
